EASY DIY At Home Silk Screen Printing Kit

I just received this product and was looking forward to trying it out. I have a very bad first impression of the product when the enclosed stencils say “best if used before January 2019.” It is now June 2019. See photo. How disappointing. Am now debating whether I should return it or give it a try anyway.Am updating my rating from 2 stars to 4 stars after the vendor replied to my complaint almost immediately, explaining the expiration date was a packaging error — that the expiration date should be January 2020 instead of January 2019. I accept that. We tried the product and it worked quite well. My wife loves it! Thank you. I took one point off for careless packaging.

This kit worked perfectly for my needs. The instructions are detailed, thorough and easy to follow.Make sure to read the detailed instructions that come along with the kit FIRST, and if you follow them to carefully, you will end up with a perfect result. This is not a simple Wham, Bam and Done.There was a lot of thought put into making this kit, and for that I thank the people who made it.

Years ago I had bought the starter kit and there were 5 screen prints… A little bummed to find out there were only 2 in this kit. I feel like it’s a bit pricey for what you get. The screens really do work though, I would advise testing your exposure time on the mini sheets. And exposure time during winter might be much higher than the 1 minute. I have made multiple T-shirts, canvas bags, pillows and they’ve all turned out great if you are crafty. All of my sheets from my original kit several years ago are still working (just made more great Christmas gifts again this year). This picture is a sweatshirt that has been washed quite a few times already. The only advice I would say is to make sure you read the instructions of the ink you use, and heat set it on both sides of the fabric.

This kit may seem expensive to anyone who hasn't done this before, but it's actually a great product and kit for the price. The instructions are clear, easy to use, and I was able to make several stencils for use with my ceramics. The photo emulsion and mesh are one piece, unlike other kits I've seen, and as long as you follow the instructions carefully, you get amazing, detailed results. I can't recommend this highly enough!

If you're looking to print multiple tees professionally this isn't the kit for you . If youre looking for a fun activity to do with your kids , go for it.

Very easy to use. Just follow the instructions. I watched a couple videos on YouTube just for good measure. Turned out great on the first try. Extremely pleased.

First the kit doesn’t fit the black board it comes with. You can’t clamp down the stencil cause it’s to big. Secondly after getting new clamps and following directions to the T soaking all the blue photo stuff came off. I thought this would be worth saving time making my own. I’ll just continue making my own. $50 turned into $67 cause I had to buy new clamps. Not worth it.
