Golf travel bag
I liked that I was about to fit all my golf clubs in this bag. I like how the hard head cover protects my clubs from my suitcase and other people’s clubs. Once I got to my destination I used the soft cover.

missing part non functioning clip
We ordered two for a planned trip in May. One arrived without the rain cover. Also one has a side clip that will not close.

Could be better
First time out and the airlines busted off the holder for the suitcase. The wheels are on the wrong side for dragging - it's on the side with the outside pockets. The "hard side" isn't really that hard.Wouldn't buy and didn't use until after return window closed otherwise i would have returned. I've had much better

Doubles as travel golf bag and cart bag
The E1 Sport Rack Travel Golf Bag serves as both a travel bag and a cart bag, eliminating the bulky luggage piece you have when packing a golf bag inside a golf travel bag. I just purchased this golf travel bag so I cannot comment on long-term durability. It is a golf club travel bag that appears to be well made and protective enough for even airline baggage handlers. The sides and travel top are rigid. The travel top is removed and can be replaced with a rain cover (if needed) once reaching your playing destination. The bag is the size (or even slightly smaller) of a typical cart bag.I did not experience the problem removing the hard plastic travel cover that is fitted to the top of the bag that other reviewers mention. The travel cover is easily removed and replaced, but you must know the areas on the clip to press and what order they need to be released (or pressed when reattaching the cover). To remove the protective plastic travel cover (see photo):1. Press the top tab fully, and pull this towards you.2. Press the lower half of the clip.3. Release the swivel by lifting it out of the clip.Do the above steps in reverse order to reattach the plastic cover._________________________________EDIT 1:The latch alignment comments (describing a fitment problem) in other reviews are legitimate. However, you can easily fix this problem by bending (very slightly) the metal receptor on the bag that fits the upper latch. I used needlenose pliers to do the very conservative adjustment.EDIT 2I just used this golf travel bag, flying from the Midwest to Palm Springs, and back. The travel bag was inspected by TSA on both trips; TSA did not have a problem opening and closing the travel bag. The bag is very durable and did not suffer any damage. I really like the integrated wheels because they make transporting the bag very easy. I used the “travel bag” as a “cart bag” while golfing, and it works perfectly (with adequate pockets and storage for a towel, rain cover, golf balls, gloves, and shoes).

Near Perfect
Upon receiving this travel golf bag, I am extremely pleased with its quality and design. I did not find it difficult to re-attach the hard shell cover to the bag as another reviewer experienced. However, taking it off was slightly difficult; it took a minute or so. (Ordinarily one would think, if it is easy to put the cover back on the bag then by rights it should be easy to take off, but this just isn't the case.) The front of the golf bag has two pockets. The larger one can be used to store your golf shoes provided you don't have exceptionally large feet. I wear a size 8 and the pocket was deep enough to store them. However, the width of this pocket should be wider by a couple of inches. It was a tight fit width wise for my shoes. The smaller front pocket is large enough to store a dozen (unboxed) golf balls plus some tees. The large side pockets are good for thin items like jacket, towels, and golf gloves and mitts. What would make this bag essentially perfect is the wider shoe pocket and a third (front) latching clip on the hard shell cover. The two side clips are sufficient but a third would make it stronger. I strongly recommend this bag, it is very sturdy, well designed, and priced competitively. You will not regret buying this travel golf bag. Before purchasing this bag, I did talk directly to a company sales rep who was very cordial and answered all my questions. He even packaged a couple of freebies (golf towel and sun visor) in my order.

Decent, but could be a lot better
My travel bag had developed a hole on my last trip back from Europe, so I wanted to upgrade to a hard case. There are lot of choices out there, but I really liked the idea of a hard bag that could act as a golf bag that I could just check through and not worry about it.Pros:- Holds all of my clubs- Works okay as a golf bag- Decent amount of storage- Cheaper than other hard bag solutions out thereCons:- No handle to easily pick up and put on the golf cart- Nice orange accent color, but no nylon cover to protect it when checked as baggage. Had to make our own.- Clasps to attach the top are finicky- Zero customer support. I tried to ask some questions before the purchase. I sent an email and left a voicemail with no response- Pull handle is awkwardAll this said, I am mostly happy with the purchase.
