This pattern is relatively easy to make and I think it would work better for me in a different fabric. I used a natural linen type fabric and I feel a bit like a bag of potatoes in it! I will try it again in a patterned fabric. It made up well and I think most people with a basic knowledge of sewing could manage it. I lengethed the pattern as I don't have the knees for knee length.

I am just retired. Many years ago I used to make all my own clothes, but for a long time now my sewing has been confined to more mundane tasks. I am hoping to take dressmaking up again and this looks a good pattern to start with.Brilliant service. Pattern was out of stock initially but I was kept informed about this and in the event it came quickly - and first class! Really grateful for everything.So, just need to organise my sewing room, get out my vintage 1940s singer machine, which I bought as refurbished model when I was a teenager and still serves me well. Then I can get going!

Probably my fault but it doesn't look that good on me. I might give it another go with more 'drapey' material.I had to re do the facings 3 times as otherwise it didn't fit around the neckline.

Easy to follow pattern, once cut out made this dress in one afternoon. Recommend.

Had to go down 2 sizes but otherwise ,great just getting back into sewing after a few years ,made 2 already from this pattern.Also had to put extra 2” on the length.

At times certain instructions not explained. Lucky I had my experienced sewing teacher to guide me.
