Excellent rugged and classy.
About time for a fresh American aluminum hardcase maker!I'm a million-miler air traveller and been travelling the globe with a Halliburton for a couple of years, and it kept getting out of alignment and dented. I even purchased a special rubber hammer to bang out the dents and realign the closing edges! The clasps had been popping open since the firs trip, I took along some tape to keep them closed.I was getting ready to bite the $1000 bullet on a Rimowa, when I saw this unfamiliar brand. Researched the company, and new on the block, but looked pretty good. So I took a gamble. When this arrived I place it side by side with the Halliburton, and this Enkloze is clearly burlier, with heavier clasps and thicker closing edge all around. The wheels are actually quieter and smoother (!), and the whole thing has a classy, solid feel.So I loaded it up and took it to Paris with excess poundage (shhh don't tell the airline).Well, yes a scratch from rough handling, but not a single dent, everything solid, still true and lined up!The rubber seal on the edge is abraded a bit from the trip, we'll see how long it lasts, I'll report back if it really degrades and interferes with good working of the suitcase. So I'm on record to recommend this unit, hope they do well and survive. We need more innovators to take a crack at making great products!

Great design, super smooth wheels
Great design, super smooth wheels, and amazing quality interior materials. But unfortunately the black exterior scratches to white metal as soon as it gets into contact with metal edges of the overhead airplane bins, which ruins the look...

Perhaps the Best Luggage I have Purchased
After the demise of my relatively new polycarbonate hard-shell luggage after four International Trips, I decided to either move to Aluminum or return to Fabric. However, as all Travelers know, Aluminum Luggage, specially made by Rimowa, while excellent quality is also expensive. After searching the web for different Companies who made Aluminum Luggage, I came across ENKLOZE - a relatively new Startup Company. According to the ENKLOZE website the Luggage is Created in California, Designed in Japan, and the shipping tag notes Made in China - the ENKLOZE website does not list China as the source of origin.I read several of the Reviews (all from Verifiable Purchasers) I decided to purchase a 28" ENKLOSE KLASIK. When the luggage arrived, I was more than modestly impressed by the quality of the Aluminum, the Locks - which were extremely easy to set - and the interior design. I liked the Luggage so much I decided to order the 21" Carry-on and the 24" Check-In. All of these pieces are of excellent quality. All luggage will suffer the mishandling of the Airline Baggage Handlers, and in the future, I will be more attentive to examine my luggage upon immediate arrival at my destination; however, I am positive the ENKLOZE Luggage will hold up extremely well. While I have yet to travel with the ENKLOZE KLASIK Luggage, I am planning to very soon. I will return to provide an update to my Review.

One year review: Great value for an aluminum suitcase!
This is probably the best aluminum suitcase at this price point. We have another brand at the same price and this one blows it out of the water. It's thicker aluminum, the handles and really adjustable and the wheels are butter smooth.I have had one of the latches come loose during a checked flight but it was only one time and it was still pretty sealed since the other one didn't break.Either way i've had mine for about a year now with no complaints.

Solid unit, wheels glide easily
Rock Solid case, the gasket around the inner rim is a nice touch, keeps everything inside dry. Purchased this because it does NOT have zippers. Somewhat pricey, there are lower cost units available (thank you Amazon for sending me the advertisements of the cheaper versions AFTER I purchased?!). Found out after this purchase that you can go direct to the manufacturer's website and buy the same item Two-Hundred dollars cheaper. Regardless, very sturdy, made of Aluminum so it will get dinged and scratched by the Baggage handlers, but the reinforced corners help mitigate a lot of the damage.

DO NOT CHECK-IN BAG
I used it for the first time since by airline rules, you have to check-in a bag greater than 22" - when I picked up by bag, it was badly scratched all over like a cat got a hold of it to play with and dents - it is a shame, beautiful bag and perfect size just not suitable for the check-in process. The company should sell the bag for $300 given all the damage that can easily happen to it. It is best to buy a polycarbonate one where I never had a problem. I do have the carry-on too so no issues with it yet.Very unhappy consumer.

it crushed the first flight
good design nice looking luggage case, but lock won't secure, I had all my belonging came out from the luggage, I brought total of 5 of this case. its so embarrassing to repack all your luggage at the carousel.

Klasik Beauty
I just got the 21 inch in black, and though I have not used it yet, the quality is amazing, I am truly surprised. I was a little worried the black might be a bit flashy but it is not.Seems much stronger than my Rimowa Salsa 22 Multiwheel, and the wheels just glide through the floor. From looking at how well built this piece of luggage is I have no doubts it will serve me well. My only concern is if the black finish will scratch if checked in someday.
