This little square is perfect for doing blade to table alignment on my miter and table saw. I have two sizes and this one is perfect for the miter saw because I don't have to remove the blade guard to set the blade 90 degrees to the table. It's also almost a quarter inch thick so it's easy to clamp to a work piece such as a chair or table leg when you want to square it up to the floor. And, it's a lot cheaper than those red squares you see advertised in the woodworking magazines!

I know everyone will think that I have been living under a rock, but this is the first time I have purchased a fine instrument such as this machinist square! Since I have been moving around quite a bit in the last 20+ years (military), and my shop was constantly in a state of chaos as well as having a humidity problem, I tended to purchase the lower quality implements. This square has a solid feel to it and when used to check for 90*, you know that it is accurate. I will be purchasing more (different sizes) of these in the future.

It's small. I read the measurements before I bought it, but when I received it, it really is small. I suggest mocking it up per the dimensions to be sure that is the size you are looking for.Works great though, is perfect size for small tool setups where perpendicular blade to table alignment is a necessity.

Regardless of knowing the 3" size, I was still surprised at how tiny this square is. That said, it appears to be very accurate and easy to keep around.

Great accuracy and a good quality

Accurate as close as I can determine in my home workshop. Arrived in foam padded box. A well finished, hefty piece of metal that inspires confidence. I would purchase from this manufacturer again.

I purchased this try square specifically for ensuring that my scroll saw table and blade are dead on at 90 degrees square to each other. Should work very well for that one single purpose. Well worth the price.
