I’ve had Ue speakers since the boom 2 after a jbl lasted me 3 days. Ue speakers are durable my boom 2 got thrown 20 feet in the air and still worked. boom 4 sounds great and looks nice’ connected way faster than older model and it’s easy to start your playlist with the magic button. if you want bass and battery life get the mega boom 3 or 4

Great sound and battery life
Love the sound quality and that it is water proof. I'm about to buy a couple more since we can connect multiple speakers at 1 time

Bigger than previous, good buy
I own the original UE Boom which is nearly 10 years old and still going strong. I bought this one in order to have stereo sound in my golf cart. I like the look and feel of this new Boom 4 design, however I don't find the bass is much better for the extra size. So although I do recommend buying it, and I'm generally happy with this purchase, I don't see (hear) the benefit of the largest size footprint.

The media could not be loaded. Yeah I had the mega boom 3 but the mega boom 4 it really puts out a full base sound it's real good when I'm riding my Segway I can actually hear it

Not plug port
Power cord is worthless, both ends are the oval shape. Cannot use until I order a port with plug. Dumb move. I own several megaboom speakers and this is the first disappointment. It's also tiny yet was the same price as my large one. I thought it was the big one. Booo. Hope the sound is as good as the big one but I won't know until I can charge the thing!

Disappointed
While I LOVE Ultimate Ears products, I was not aware that the 4 will not charge on the disc charger that accommodates the mega and the 3 series (one of the best feature available, it also does not link to the app for me for powering on, (?). It’s not unbearable to work around but the values added to be removed from a later model makes no sense.
