With just one night of use and one extra comfy day off of work, I can happily attest to the benifits of a quality weighted blanket.My use/reasons for buying - I oddly enough enjoy hotels, why? Well it's simple the hotels I've been to have had heavier comforters, and I really enjoy them and normally get a really amazing night of sleep, so I did some research and found this.Packaging - the box it came in was a little beat up but that's more likely the carriers fault, and once you open the box it comes inside a little duffle bag with the company name on it, and then its rolled up and bagged in a plastic bag. Over all SOMNOS definitely cares about not only the product, but the presentation so I think they deserve credit for that so the product deserves 4.5 stars but that's not an option.Pros - does not cause me to sweat alot/feel hot and restless, In fact it does the opposite, it makes me stay still and relax more. The blanket also has a zipper to allow it to become two halves, I havent had it long enough to say it helps for travel, or what uses it has, but once i figure out what uses the zipper has I'll make an update (maybe this isnt a pro but I dont see it being a con so... i dont know take this one with a grain of salt.)Cons - the comforter is more of a small blanket, for a comforter it's a little small, and is actually the same size as the bed its self, so my recommendation is to buy a size bigger to have it feel more like a normal comforter.Ps, I plan to edit this with more information after a months time. (If anyone wants me to elaborate on the size, I'll gladly take pictures, but for now I'm going to go to bed, I hope you have a good nights rest if you buy this.)

This is the most amazing weighted I have tried (and I tried 5 before getting this one). I saw the campaign on Kickstart er and should have gotten one then. I love it. It is the right weight and the design does not allow for the beads to settle in one corner. It comes with a zipper down the middle, which may see strange at first. Until you unzip it and realize you can use it so many different ways. My daughter always wants to use it, so she gets half in her bed. I really need to buy another one. I would recommend starting with this blanket and never look back.

The SOMNOS comforter is a game changer! I struggle with anxiety and was gifted a personal size weighted blanket. I realized the effectiveness right away. BUT, my boyfriend and I were bringing in two different blankets to bed at night and it was irritating to be stuck away from each other. This is where SOMNOS solved our WHOLE problem - the comforter allows us all the regular benefits of a comforter while also keeping anxiety at bay while we sleep. We have had huge improvements in with his sleeping problems (they’re gone) and I always need the SOMNOS for soothing anxiety and also just general discomfort! We went out of town and slept under a regular blanket awhile back and were blown away at the difference our SOMNOS has made 😱 Also, just to answer what everyone asks me: NO it’s not hot! And we live in Texas so that’s saying something!

I really like the feeling of being under a weighted blanket, and finding one that works for two of us on a King sized bed is great.

What a difference this has made. I deal with Restless Leg, and medications keep it at bay, mostly. With this comforter, I just relax and I fall asleep quickly. In the morning I feel very refreshed! And I do not feel overheated. I'm not sure about the comments of it being small - it seems right to me. And I am getting an upper body workout everyday folding it.

I didn’t realize how poorly I had been sleeping until I started using this blanket. I now wake up every morning recharged and feeling great. Wish I would have bought it sooner! You won’t be disappointed if you buy it. Well worth the $400 price tag.

I ordered this product for my brother, as I have one myself and love it. Quality is high, and I sleep like a baby under it. Though the blanket is heavy, you do not get hot under it. The weight feels very soothing.

Only wish i wouldve gotten a heavier model. It feels like a regular comforter and i love it. Definitely doesnt feel cheap- get what u pay for.
