This is an ultrasonic device intended to attract a dog's attention, what you do with it after that is up to you. It does just that, attract the dogs attention. That's it folks, review over! Seriously,that's all there is to it. You push a button it makes a noise hearable to dogs. Never heard of a dog whistle? A dog's whistle is cordless too. Plus you don't have to recharge it. This should have been made with an adjusted to adjust the frequency of the sound. This would help prevent the dog from getting to used to one sound and ignoring it. Were it to have user adjustable frequencies then it could be been a five star. As is? Learn to whistle, lol

I tried this in an enclosed field to test my dogs allertness, callback and barking at the dogs in a paddock next to us!!I have a Saluka/Lurcher wh just loves to run (and bark). So when he was a good distance away i tested this and it did catch his attention he stopped what he was doing and stared at me!! but his call back aint great but this get his attention from about 80m away!Second his barking, would this help with this, sort of, If his callbak was better then i would say this would have worked better with his barking as again it got his attention, He looked at me and i shouted come here he turned back towards the other dog (who was also looking at me) and started barking again!Would i use this again or shout his favourate word (CHICKEN) I know which one works the best!To some people this would be good i think, It is rechargeable but i found controls a bit confusing to use...
