It is a functional product. I looked at quite a few before I chose this one because this said it was extra tough. In fact it feels quite fragile- especially where it pulls from the main tap fixing . It took a while to get the correct fixing nut set us - there are 2 screwed together. Altogether It works quite well. The hose I chose was 75ft long . my garden is 65 feet long so I thought i was being generous picking this length, but i still felt there was too much tension when I was using the hose fully extended, especially where it pulls on the tap end. I wish I had bough the 100ft hose. The spray gun is adequate- i have had trouble with these in the past (regardless of price) they always seem to leak down the main joint, this one leaks a tiny tiny bit but it is generally good. To be fair, it wasn't expensive. It does retract so that is a major plus for people like me who hated having to wind the big hose up. Also, it doesn't need to go on a big spool winder thing, it is light, you can hook the spray gun onto a hook on the wall and its all tidied away. Also it doesn't kink or tangle. Black colour is a bit industrial to have hanging around a domestic garden but the green ones didnt say they were double-thickness extra tough (if that is really a point of difference, who knows?) .

Am writing a second review now as this hose really turned out to be a bad buy. It squirted water from the side of the nozzle from day one and is now completely unusable as water shoots out all over the place and from seemingly invisible holes. Last time I used it I looked like I'd been sat in a bath of water - I was completely drenched. Absolute waste of money.

Hose Pipe Lusanity black 100FT Stronger Double Latex Inner Tube Garden Hose Solid Brass Prevent Leaking Strongest Expandable (With Valve) Garden Water Hose with Extra Strength Fabric and Professiona (75FT) Quite good and the hose looks quite durable.The only issue I had is that the tap fitting was a bit naff and blew apart the first time I used it. Luckily the fitting from my old hose was better quality and fitted, so I used that instead. Otherwise I would have had to send it back.

This was my third hosepipe. I was persuaded by the description of the item by the seller. The weakness with this particular hosepipe was the connection to the water outlet causing the rubber to explode when the outer sheaf separated from the metal grip connecting the two items together.I sincerely doubt that I would buy another expanding hosepipe from anyone.

This may sound sad, but I don't care. This is the best hose I've ever owned( I have lived a sheltered life lol) this can water both my front and back gardens easily, it comes with attachments and its very cheap

Used only for washing a motorcycle through the summer and re-boxed after each use. Went to wash bike again and I guess the internal hose failed.This has only ever been used by myself and has not been miss-used.Probably used hals a dozen times. Very disappointed.

Excellent hose pipe, very pleased with it, was delivered before the given date and packaged well. Fixed to our outside tapno problem and we keep the 75ft hose in a bucket, it's great, would definitely recommend.

Spray gun would only screw half way onto hose so leaked profusely. Luckily had a spare sprayer from a previous failed hose as couldn't be bothered hassle of returning.Hosepipe burst after less than three months so it was a mistake buying it.
