Great product, loved the taste.

The Blessed Vegan pancake mix is not something that I as a non-vegan enjoy. The product may be tasty if your someone who hasn't enjoyed normal pancakes in a long time, but for me as someone who buys them regularly from the baker, these were bland and unenjoyable.Not a product I would recommend and definitely doesn't compare in any way to the non-vegan equivalent.

I would normally go straight to a one-star review for something that tastes this bad. But, I'm not. Here me out.I cannot stand Stevia and other non-sugar flavourings. It really comes through and overpowers everything I eat and drink, that all I can taste, are those flavourings.This contains many other "normal" ingredient replacements, but also contains Stevia.The texture and flavour for me, was like I'm ingesting chemical after chemical. The texture was nothing at all like pancake batter - My body attempted to expel this.So why not 1 star?Because it was very easy to makeAnd clearly a lot of thought went into trying to make a product, similar to 3 ingredients (egg, milk and flour).This is clearly for someone. But absolutely not for me.

🔹INTRO & DESCRIPTION🔹The Blessed Plant Based High Protein Pancake Mix is available in three flavours. I chose the Maple Glazed flavour. It arrived in a pouch which is resealable after opening. A plastic scoop is included inside the pouch. The packet I received is 5 servings.The instructions are simple. Use a scoop of powder, and mix well with either water or milk until all the lumps have dissolved. Add a drop of oil to a frying pan and fry on both sides.🔹OPINION🔹&🔹CONCLUSION🔹Preparation – The mixture was simple to prepare, and mixed easily. I chose to use milk.Cooking – The mixture was fairy runny, not like “normal” batter. The instructions say to heat it until the bubbles rise to the surface, and then flip it over. The bubbles rose, but the mixture was still too sticky to turn over. I turned the heat up, but then the underside seemed to be overcooked. I managed to flip it over, and turned down the heat, but it still seemed raw in the middle.Taste – Now to the all important taste. The first thing you notice is the sweetness, as it is very sweet. I’ve not got a particularly sweet tooth, but my partner has, so I let him try it, and even he found it sweet. It is also quite dry.However, the most unpleasant thing as far as I was concerned is a gritty/grainy texture. I found myself actually crunching it between my teeth. I am not sure what gives it this texture, but it was not nice.It also leaves a nasty aftertaste. I had my usual cup of tea after eating it, and it actually spoiled my lovely brew, as the taste had lingered, and I could taste it over the tea. Even an hour later, I could still taste it in my mouth.In conclusion, I really did not like either the taste or the texture of these pancakes, and I most definitely would not eat another one. I have tried a similar product from a different brand and it tasted much better than this one, and also cooked better. The only positive thing I can say about this product is that it smells nice, hence the one star.

I must say, I am really pleased with the pancakes that were made from this mix - I followed the recipe for my first few servings and then found that I preferred it slightly modified, using 2.5 scoops rather than 2. This made the pancakes slightly thicker and - in my opinion - a bit nicer.The branding for this product is also really satisfying, I'm a fan!The packet is resealable so you don't have to use it all immediately. I'd imagine that if you were to have this daily, one packet should last you 3-4 days. For £13ish, I think that this is expensive.The pancakes taste really good in the chocolate chip flavour. These are handy to help hit your macros and make portioning pancakes a breeze. Really good!

I love this pancake mix, the choc chip to be specific, it's amazing. It makes these slightly crispy pancakes with a soft fluffy inside, and the texture is just right. It's versatile too, I like to add some extra cacao powder and it still makes a nice pancake.The solution is easy to make and it's easy to cook.My only complaint is that it's a small bag and it doesn't last long.

I have tried so many types of low carb keto-friendly vegan pancake mixes in the last several months. I decided to give this one a try and was very disappointed. The flavour, smell and consistency of the pancake mix were just all bad.To make it palatable you might have to add some pure maple syrup or other extreme level sweetener, which defeats the purpose of this item.

Sadly this product didn't live up to expectation. If you follow the instructions it does make pancakes but I found them to be overly grainy (potentially user error) that said the taste was not my cup of tea at all.
