Bosmere Q500 Simply Cover BlackBerry (Black) Kettle BBQ Cover

I needed to replace a "woven pvc-type" of cover for my kettle barbecue.The original was a Bosmere and after many years - I don't know how many, I can't find a record of the purchase date or price paid, this summer the weather had finally got to it and it was starting to develop holes and split apart.As the old Bosmere cover had lasted so long, I thought I'd replace it with another from the same manufacturer. The Amazon price with Prime delivery was very competitive and cheaper than on a well known global auction site.It arrived quickly, but immediately it was obvious that the quality was inferior to its predecessor. The weight on the shipping label showed 0.3kg.Unwrapping it, my concerns about quality of the product continued as I found a 10 inch section of hemline hadn't been stitched properly and that another section of hemline had a small tear in it.On the positive side, the automated returns process on the Amazon website was easy to navigate, and very efficient, it's a shame there is no facility to include photo evidence when asking for a return to be processed - I'd hoped to include the photos that I've attached to this review.I opted for a replacement cover rather than a refund, the replacement arrived very quickly, in fact I got the new one before Hermes had delivered the faulty one back to Amazon.The new cover was stitched correctly and now covers my barbecue, but it is very lightweight and it will be interesting to see if it withstands the winter winds and rain., which is why I;ve left a middle of the road 3 stars for "weatherproof".

Fits my 57cm Weber bbq really well and held up against the crazy winds we had a few weeks ago so I would definitely recommend.

This is waterproof but ripped easily when it got caught on the bbq, hence 4 stars rating.

It's OK, fitting my newly purchased Kettle BBQ but it is very lightweight and so would not rely on it for winter protection, fine for keeping rain and dust off during the warmer months, assuming we get any?

Good value and well made for the price.
