Bit pricey but none in the shops because of coronavirus.

adding boiled water to the powder mixes well if using a small whisk and makes a nice smooth pouring custard, good flavour and colour too. The three pack can be cheaper than 'own brand' custard powder which is a welcome surprise.

Back home in the USA, “instant” is usually the same as “expect much poorer quality.” Not so, with this product. I have made Bird’s custard the long way for years. Living in the U.K., I thought I would try this instant custard just for comparison to the “real” custard. I was so pleasantly surprised to find the instant custard close enough to the cooked variety that I may need to take a box-load with me when I return to the States. I love this product for its easy preparation as much as it’s flavor and consistency.

This makes perfect custard, won’t use anything else, if you don’t use all at once can be put fridge until next day.This is delicious

Hadn't had this for years, tried it on a whim and found it inedible. Just a horrible artificial flavour, something like raw flour and soured vanilla with a horrible after taste...nothing like a real custard made from scratch. Don't bother.
