Trinity: Complete First Season

Whether or not you like this depends a lot on how you choose to watch it. Its like this show was trying to be too many things at the same time. Take an academic version of a rollicking sex comedy, add a serious representation of the class system, add another plot point aiming at suspense with a secret cabal setting into motion some undefined world agenda, and finally mix in another plot point involving two total misfits who are SO stoned and just plain DUMB that you begin to wonder how we are supposed to believe they were ever admitted to this prestigious college to begin with (its kind of like Harold and Kumar go to Oxford). Mix all that together and you have this series.The sets and the cast are both beautiful to look at and there are moments of real fun----and certainly a lot of sex! But, the acting is hit and miss, the dialogue is silly, and the mix of plots is confusing at first until you just stop caring about it. If you like a visually pleasing sex comedy, then this is a fun ride. If you have ANY expectation of anything making sense you are in for a frustrating experience.

Hmmmm... Difficult to review. The fact that this 2008 series was on ITV2 and wasn't renewed sort of says it all. It's silly and full of stereotypes; but I watched all 8 episodes (about 6 hours) and laughed - guess that's called entertainment. Prudes beware: the advertising says 'recreational sex, recreational drugs and random murder;' there's swearing, full frontal male nudity and some gory operating room scenes. But, I didn't find it as offensive as many modern programs that supposedly reflect real-life. I don't regret buying it and may well recommend it to others who would appreciate the Americans were behind it all.

This is a really silly series. First of all it's very difficult to understand and there is no closed captioning. Second, it's filled with unnecessary sex, backstabbing, and inappropriate language. I only watches the first episode. Save your money.

I'm sure many others would like this comedy. It just was not what I expected. I ordered it because Charles Dance was in it . He was fantastic as always, but I like him in more serious roles. The DVDs were clear and the sound was great.

Its just too bad they didnt make more seasons. Intriguing, sexy and funny. CHARLES DANCE of course was his super sexy as always!!! Christian Cooke......HOT HOT HOT!!! And Anthony Calf, hes fantastic, he never disappoints!!! LOVE IT!!!

Murder mystery/mad scientist/freshman sexcapades/stoners/bigotry/international intrigue. Intentionally silly plot. Campy and slightly burdened by so much hamming it up, but still enjoyable. Charles Dance, brilliant as ever, holds it together.

I like mysteries. I don't need the sex. I can get that at home. I stopped watching it when I was going to be forced to fast forward over nasty gratuitous sex. Why would anyone want to watch that? I like a mystery and don't need the sex!

I thought the acting was good however it could have been better

Fantastic series....yes it mixes genres, but it's great fun, well acted and amusing - well worth a watch.

I quite enjoyed this series. The characters were well done and you quickly grew to like and dislike them. I was disappointed to see this was the only one in the series and since it was made in 2009, will be the only one. I think it would definitely appeal to the younger members of Amazon, those watchers of Vampire Diaries, the Twilight movies, etc. I liked it and will keep the series to watch it again at a later date.

Fan absolue de séries, je me suis laissée tenter par celle-ci et avoue ne pas savoir quoi en penser ! Si l'intrigue est top et les décors sympa, les personnages et certaines répliques versent dans la caricature pour ne pas dire dans le grotesque !!! On en ressort un peu déboussolé ne sachant pas s'il faut crier au génie et applaudir le second degré assumé de certaines scènes ou au contraire être navré...Curieusement, on attend quand même la seconde saison avec impatience ! Bizarre, vous avez dit bizarre...

I thought this might offer wit and humour against a background of British tradition and culture. Instead it was cheap slapstick done poorly.
