Two 4" x 4" (5/8" radius corner) Exterior Door Spring Hinge in Oil-rubbed Bronze 10R Finish. This full mortise single acting spring hinge is recommended for use where automatic self closing of a door is required. This three knuckle hinge is adjustable and the spring tension can be increased or decreased by using the included adjusting tool. Spring hinges are fully assembled and include all necessary screws for application.

Awesome
Great product. Husband was shocked that I bought these new hinges to help 'quell the argument' of the mysterious slamming of a door (and subsequent rattling of all items in china cabinet) in our normally felicitous home. Husband sprang into action immediately, poised to continue his nay-saying and grumbling-when suddenly was proven to be a very light and perfect closing of a door. Huzzah!!! It works, and wonderfully too. He still refused to read the directions and even tried to lose the pesky little pins that aid in creating tension. (a word of caution for future buyers and sellers. They are loose in bag and should be contained better.) But the hinges really do work-mostly in helping with the mystery of slamming doors (not the "husband wont read the directions" part however.)

These are a bit thicker than my original hinges
I purchased these to replace my existing spring hinges that snapped/broke. Unfortunately these hinges are a bit thicker than the original ones and probably will require me to cut out more wood from the door/door frame. Perhaps this is a very normal thing, but I do not want to have to hack away at my door or door frame. The quality of the item is great and feels VERY durable.

One would squeak like crazy!
Well I got them and put one on the front and back door. The one on the back door work just fine, but the one I put on the front door and the loudest, awful squeak to it, and I oiled it and tried everything to get it to stop but couldn't, I'm still using the one that worked and it works good, but I got rid of the other one!!

works great
Contrary to other reviews, these have worked great. I have both installed on a standard inside door that goes out to the garage. They look nice & perform as described. We'll see how well they hold up - hopefully at least until I'm sick of ORB finish :)

Heavy duty, strong enough for solid wood doors.
Only used one per door( solid wood) and it works great! We have it on two doors, both work fine. Love that doors are now closed, and we can walk through our house again without stopping and closing doors all the time.

No more slamming door.
After my garage door caught a wind gust and slammed with my little guys hand a near miss I knew we had to do something. The door closes but doesn't slam. It was an easy install with the hardware included. I installed it in my front door and my garage door. My kids love to leave doors open and this helps prevent the door slam and the door left open.

Pin wont stay in
One of the hinges wont stay and no matter qhat we do does not seem to want to close (open) the gate...the pin wont stay latched in one of the higes just falls out. At firat look it looks as if you can adjust the tension in either direction. In our case it wont close the gate on our pool.
