I've had a lot of other containers like this where the lid tended to leak just a little if it was turned over. This bottle has a nice plastic plug under the metal cap that helps to seal off the top, almost like a cork (though not nearly as tight a fit as a cork).The bottle itself is slender and doesn't take up a whole lot of room, and it's vacuum insulated so it'll hold the inside temperatures better than if you just had it in a regular cup. Also the outside is kinda textured in a rough, almost sandpaper-ish finish. It's not so rough it'll rub your hands raw or anything, but it's easy to get a good grip on it so it doesn't accidentally slip out of your hands.It's hand wash only and the mouth of the bottle is kinda narrow so you might want to get a good bottle brush to clean it if you use it to hold drinks that might get nasty after a while. Otherwise for me, I fill it with a bit of soapy water, close it up, shake it vigorously and empty that out and it seems good enough for me. It's stainless steel (I think) so unless you're using it for milkshakes or something thick, that's probably all the cleaning you'll need.The whole thing holds almost a liter (750 ml), but I guess if you need more than that, it'll mean you're getting a taller or maybe thicker bottle. For the size it's a decent amount of drink to carry. For anything bigger you'd need some kind of handle or you'd have to carry it in a backpack while this is likely to fit on your bike's water bottle holder.

If you've ever used S'well's products before, you know exactly what you're getting from this bottle: an exquisitely crafted aluminum bottle with very effective insulating properties and a unique stopper that twists on securely. They're super high quality drinking vessels and this is no exception.I really like the poppy red color here - it stands out and you are unlikely to lose your bottle! 25 ounces is a large capacity - it just happens to be about 750 milliliters, which is almost exactly the capacity of a full bottle of wine. Do with that information what you will on your next picnic.My main complaint with S'well products, which holds true here too, is that cleaning them is a nightmare: you can't reach into the bottle, so if anything gets moldy or stuck in there, you're in for a brush fiasco to restore it back to its original clean state. I wish they'd include some kind of cleaning brush that's long and thick enough so you don't have to improvise. I prefer designs from other manufacturers with a wider mouth, but this size is indisputably great for drinking. If S'well introduced a bottle that unscrewed about halfway down, similar to how Copco's faux bottled water bottles work, this would be the perfect drinking bottle of all time.

I really like that this bottle is 25 fl oz. I usually have to bring two bottles of water with me when I am training, but this bottle is large enough that I can stay hydrated during my two hour class. I like the bold red color, also, because I can easily find my bottle among all the other students bottles. It doesn’t leak and it keeps my water cold, too.

This is a really nice-looking Water/Beverage Bottle. This orangey/red color is crisp and the bottle has a wonderful texture to it. The screw on metal lid is classy and functional. It has a pretty decent size to it too. It is a supply of beverage not just a drink. I tested its "keep cool/cold" power by filling it with ice cold water from the Fridge on a Friday Late evening and checked it Sunday night and it was still Cold, Colder than my normal tap can produce so it definitely kept water in the right spot for a while. that was pretty impressive (note this was an indoor test at an ambient 72-74 degrees) I haven't tested its "keep warm/hot" skills yet over time but I did test with Coffee for a few hours and it stayed nice and hot and I felt no heat transfer to my hand. Thats a good sign. This is very giftable to your athletic or beverage minded friends. Pro tip - If you rub it to produce a feel good but friction-based sound you can drive your wife nuts and stay hydrated for your escape.

The media could not be loaded.  This Swell water bottle is beautiful, classy, and large - 25oz. I ordered it as an assist to drink more water daily. I figured if I filled it 2-3 times a day I could just carry it around and easily get all my H2O in. In the looks department it is stunning. However, it arrived with a very noticeable black scratch.... which is not only disappointing, but also worrisome re how the finish will hold up overall as I obviously plan to carry it out and about, placing it in cupholders and throwing it in my bag. It is insulated and does keep your drinks cool. But for the premium price I would expect the finish to be more durable and worry that it will start to rust at that scratch.

This Swell bottle features the famous leak proof Swell top in a larger volume container. I like that it holds 25oz. The mouth is easy to drink from and as I mentioned before it's leakproof. This isn't my favorite container though because I still have to use a brush to clean the inside and cleaning the leakproof lid is challenging and needs another brush to get around the plug. That being said, these are things you know when you purchase this container because that's how the top is designed. I love the bright red color.

I think the Poppy Red color on this insulated bottle is beautiful. I did notice a small dent near the logo of the bottle, which could indicate a quality control issue. I was surprised by the textured coating on the exterior of this bottle, it does not look or feel cheap.As an insulated bottle, it worked very well and kept liquids cool for almost 48 hours. I didn't try the bottle with hot liquids since the cap has plastic. The cap has an interesting stopper design which is effective and does not leak.Care instructions can be found on the back of the paper that is stuck on the bottle. Other than the small dent, this is a quality insulated bottle with an amazing red shade of color.
