I was pleased to find that this "tape" is actually more of a sticker than a tape: It's fairly thick and has a backing which must be removed in order to affix it to a surface. One of the Amazon questions & answers asked if it "was like masking tape," and the answer simply said that it was thicker, so I was still expecting it to be more like a roll of tape.I'm also pleased with the way it glows, even though it's not exposed to bright light for very long the way I use it.I have a small dog who's getting older, so some time ago I built a set of steps out of plywood and old carpet to put at the foot of the bed so he can climb up and down. Lately at bedtime he'd been staying at the bottom of the steps, waiting for me to turn the light on in the bedroom before he climbs up, so it looks like his night vision is beginning to go.I bought this tape to mark the front of each step and walls on the side and back of the set of doggy steps. With just a normal day's worth of ambient light, plus the room lights when we're getting ready for bed, the tape is still glowing about 9 hours later when I start my day. And my dog's been climbing up onto the bed, regardless of whether the room light is on or not, so it's bright enough to serve the purpose.

Great add on for safety and direction on our RV. Installed in places where you could either hit your knees, miss a step, or can not see a door release in the dark.This stays illuminated for quite a long time in total darkness. Was a bit skeptical when buying but very happy that I did.Highly recommend and I would repurchase.

I used this tape for 6' social distancing markers on Halloween. It worked great, but only glowed for about 2 hours (despite charging in the sun hours prior to using). I would use it again, though. Really convenient product with good adhesion.

I liked the various shapes and that the product glows in the dark, but the "stick" factor leaves a bit to be desired. The product is not a good option for outdoor use, nor on carpet; but for flat, smooth surfaces it works great for short-term use.

I wasn’t sure about a “glow in the dark” tape. I thought it might glow a short time or not very noticeable. I put it around my electrical covers and even cut small pieces to adhere to the switch itself. It works! It stays on when applied (provided the surface is clean and free of dust). I love it because now I no longer fumble to find the light switch to go downstairs, to turn on bathroom light, and even wrapped my chains that hang from the fan so I can easily find the chain for the light or chain for the fan. I also placed a small piece on the first and last spindle of my stairs. Then if electricity goes off or I don’t want to turn the lights on I know where the first and last steps are. This tape would be great for decorating Halloween windows. I am sure I will find more uses for it. Thus far I have no complaints. It glows. If you are artistic you could easily use some to decorate a child’s room.

So this tape works great when it’s completely dark, but if there’s a small amount of light the tape won’t eliminate. I thought it wasn’t working & when I threw the tape I used in the trash, it was glowing like headlights. I had my tape outside on my steps leading to my house. I think the street lights kept the tape from working properly.

The glow is barely perceptible in total darkness even after charging next to a bright light for an hour. The roll is even worse than the extra stickers. I wanted the roll to highlight light switches in the dark, but it's useless.

I bought this to make glowing eyes at our cabin! I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut the eyes! It worked great!!! Now I’m waiting for nightfall to see the glowing effect! But I can tell you, this stuff is thick, sticky (that’s a good thing) and it glows almost in the day light! It’s going to be amazing at night!!!!
