I really like these napkins. They added a nice touch of elegance to my friends wedding. I have used SimuLinen napkins at two events now and have people asking if they need to save the napkins because they aren't quite sure if they are disposable or not. I have not had any trouble with the colors bleeding even on a white tablecloth. Just be aware that the silver are already pre-folded and are not a full 16"x16" they are a smidge smaller and a tad more rectangular. I had previously purchased the red, flat napkins and therefore was expecting these to be flat as well. If you look further down in the description it does say pre-folded, but that isn't clear on the box that is pictured and my expectation was for flat so I didn't read far enough down. Even with the pre-folding I was able to change the design and it still looked nice.

I bought these napkins because my husband doesn't like to use cloth, and truthfully, neither do I, but for company I like to do better than plain old paper napkins. These napkins certainly do the job. Nobody is going to mistake them for linen -- but they are quite thick and sturdy, and you can scrunch them to fit into a napkin ring, or fold them into a fancier presentation, like you can with cloth. My favorite restaurant uses napkins made like these. They are, however, QUITE pricey -- $25 for 50 napkins -- well, you can do the math, but if you're only using 4 at a time for company, the box should last a while, and my guests are worth $.50/a piece. (And I keep a napkin holder filled with regular napkins on the table for particularly napkin-intense meals. People get one of these per meal -- any additional napkin needs are met with the regular ones!)

This napkin is beyond wonderful! We used them for a wedding dinner. They are a generous size. I LOVE the fact that they pre-folded & ready to set the table. This is not a typical napkin, folks. It has a soft texture but it's really sturdy. I always use Vanity Fair napkins, but needed a colored napkin that was pre-folded. The SimuLinen napkins are WAY better than Vanity Fair. Luxurious is not an overstatement. I liked them so much that I ordered more for myself to use at home and for upcoming gatherings.

The napkins look exactly as shown in the pictures, the color is also a happy, primary red and not burgundy. They could pass for cloth napkins but the texture is very dry. I suppose, it is because the napkins are paper. They have a good size and are great for potentially sloppy dinners or bites because it is a very big absorbent napkin. They just feel a tiny bit harsh when wiping lips. The napkins look real and on a table setting, they are very nice. The best part is that you don't have to wash them, take out any stains or iron them. Perfect solution. My Martha Stewart like guests were impressed-- considering it is a paper napkin and all......

These are really nice for the price. I bought one pack for my upcoming wedding in light pink just to see if we liked them enough to buy another pack. I just wish they weren't prefolded as small as what they are because it is hard to fold the napkin any other way without seeing the original creases. We will roll the silverware instead to prevent from seeing the creases so much. Overall, I am really pleased with how they look and feel and will definitely be ordering another box. If we would've rented real cloth napkins from our local wedding rental shop, it'd be 0.65/napkin and you have to make sure to return all of them. I don't really want to go through the headache of making sure 75 napkins make it back to a shop. If you are trying to decided if you should buy/rent real cloth dinner napkins or these, save yourself the money and headache and just go with these.

These are awesome cloth like napkins that almost feel like real cotton. They are vibrant, strong, and great quality. I have purchased these several times and used them for my wedding, guest hand towels, birthdays, holidays and everything in between. I highly recommend these and will continue buying these when needed.

Update: May 1st 2020 - Just made my 24th Purchase. Beautiful. If you are a napkin snob like I am, I need not say more. This is easily my 12th order of SimuLinen napkins but my first order of Plum. I generally re-order them long before I run out........L O N G before, just because I love to have them in stock in my kitchen. There are instances where I will use the Vanity Fair, but they are just napkins. SimuLinen napkins make every meal feel like a special occasion. I will say that the Plum ones do not seem to have the same thickness as the white ones but they still are impressive Another thing, this particular color has a not so nice smell. Maybe it it the dye, not sure but it has a strong smell. I will continue to buy SimuLinen napkins but NOT the Plum color

I am very impressed! For the price I was a little nervous to purchase these but they are SUPER thick, you almost can’t tell they are disposable and the color is gorgeous! You won’t be disappointed if you buy these!
