It was as pictured but being part of a gift purchased for someone else, it might be used in several ways. I first saw them in a furniture store on top of various items, (i.e. flower pots, candle bases, sitting solo....)

natural 'uneven' foliage
This is one of the only ball type greens that is not perfectly clipped, but has leaves randomly sticking a bit out just like a real plant would be. It looks very real.
