This tray creates great ice cubes that find a nice middle ground between the standard size cube and the huge 2 inch size. These cubes will just fit through a standard wide mouth vacuum insulated water bottle, something the 2 inch cubes can't manage. The reinforcement in between the individual cells in the tray also force the ice to expand upward while freezing instead of outward which helps greatly when removing the ice from the trays. Another benefit of having the individual cells separated from one another is that the air in your freezer has the ability to circulate around each cube allowing them to freeze more evenly from all sides of the cube. I have used the other tray show in the pictures and the individual cubes tend to freeze into odd shapes and expand into each other making removal a hassle. This tray is great for ice, fruit juice, even smoothies if you want to make a large batch ahead of time and freeze for later. I'm considering purchasing another tray to expand the amount i can make at once.

I know they give the measurements in the description but they really should give a visual scale of the ice cube. I wanted something where I could put one cube in my drink and that would be enough for the entire time sipping the drink. I still will have to use 2 or 3 cubes with this. The cubes are bigger than a normal ice tray for sure but think the size of two normal ice cubes. I wanted something that say 4 times the size of a standard ice cube.They should really just put the cube up next to soda can so you can get the right scale size. If size is NOT your main reason for buying these I would HIGHLY recommend it. Seems well built and quality.

I have tested A LOT of ice trays, and many are hard to empty, stain after washing, etcetera ..This product just works! No staining, not hard to get the ice cubes out, and so on!Absolutely recommend this product to everyone!10 out of 10!

GREAT SIZE CUBE, THESE CUBS FIT IN MOST OF MY WATER BOTTLES THAT HAVE A WIDE MOUTH AND LAST ALL DAY LONG!! CUBES ARE EASY TO REMOVE, I HAVE A LARGER SIZE TRAY ALSO BUT NOT AS NICE AS THIS ONE. PLAN ON BUYING A FEW MORE.

Size is good, you can get 2 in a cocktail glass, I found the silicone to be a little stiff making it hard to get the cubes out of the mold.

The large ice cubes are a little bit difficult to remove from the trays but other than that it works really well. Big square ice cubes, nothing too fancy.
