Mont-Saint-Michel The nuns' table
V**Y
A beautiful coffee table/cookbook
I recently returned from Brittany France, where we visited Mont-Saint-Michel, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Surprisingly the book doesn't give you much of it's history, but you can read more on line. It is primarily a cookbook. The spectacular pictures in this book look exactly as it is. We even saw the nuns signing in the Chapel just like the picture. I haven't made any of the recipes yet, but they all look delicious. I saw this book there in the gift shop, but I had no more room in my suitcase. So when I got back home I looked on Amazon and found a used copy, in English, which looks brand new. If you order one of these books, pay close attention to the version. It comes in French and English. If you ever get the chance to go there, you won't be disappointed. But warning, you have to climb hundreds of stairs.
