All of the lights continue to work despite me beating the crap out of these birdies continuously. They fly perfectly and the different colors are so much fun. A couple of the lights have come out....but can be easily be fixed. I still have a couple that are brand new. I will absolutely buy more of these.

These hold up really well. Not long enough to worry about needing a replaceable battery but well compared to most store bought brands. Two came doa but oh well I knocked one star off due to that fact.

I have some other LED "birdies" I had bought that only lit up the inside. They could sometimes be hard to see at different angles at night. When I saw these I was psyched to because they lit up on the bottom. They ARE well lit but they have a different composition to them & not in a good way. The additional weight is usually a good thing. These are seem lighter than any I've played with or the balance is way off with the goose feathers. The "goose" feathers make them fly like there isn't any weight or direction to them. The bottom led part is well lit, I'll give them that. Although, It's not a bouncy rubber. The bottom is made from some porous kind of styrofoamy hard plastic. I'm sure that's what they needed to use to make the bottom transparent enough for a light. I found them to be to be too light & too weird to play with. That's the only way I can explain it. This is only my opinion, plus I live in a fairly windy city. My experience wasn't as good as I'd hoped with these. Yours may be different.

They fly true and straight. The LED shines through to nose so you can see it flying at night. Comes in multiple colors. Makes night playing possible.

The media could not be loaded.  The kids love to play outside until it’s dark, so now they have a way to play even in the darkness! They love their new “birdies”.

Oh my gosh! These make badminton so much more fun! We can actually hit it now! They fly so incredible! They are heavier in weight and actually fly fly fly! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

We checked all the birdies before use. One kind of came off and on when it was hit the first few times, but after about 5 minutes of use, seemed to get knocked into "on" for the rest of the play for an hour or so. We live in a windy area where you can't play badminton much during the daylight hours. When the wind dies down, there is not enough light to play! These solve this issue. We used 4 birdies and due to the real feathers used, one was practically shredded beyond the capability for future use after just this one night of normal play. The other 3 seem okay. So, if we lose one per hour of play, we will still get lots of use out of these. My 12 yo son used Christmas money to buy these and I was afraid he was going to be sad with his purchase. But he was excited that they were so much fun. Now we need a light up net and light up rackets! We were all afraid someone was going to get hit in the face because we could not see each other well from the light in the kitchen coming through the windows to the back yard. Can't wait to try with friends.
