🌟 Cool Down, Power Up!
The ID-COOLING IS-67-XT is a low-profile CPU cooler designed for compact builds, featuring a 67mm height, 6 heat pipes, and a 120x15mm PWM fan for efficient heat dissipation and quiet operation. It supports a wide range of Intel and AMD sockets, making it an ideal choice for HTPCs and small form factor systems.

Compact and quiet
This cooler is compact and is decently quiet and efficient for it's small size. It was easy to install on an am4 motherboard with the included hardware.

Best Low Profile Cooler
Got this after noticing the Noctua NH-L9x65 wasn't doing the job, mainly due to the heat pipes orientation wasn't in the right way for my ITX build

How Low Do You Need to Go?
I decided it was time to tweak the HTPC, bring it along as far as it can go.Originally started with a Silverstone ML04B HTPC Case, and put a Z390 I AORUS PRO WIFI in it. Had an i7-9700k and a Scythe Big Shuriken 3 cooling it. Using PowerDVD 19 and Windows 10 so I can use the UltraHD drive to play 4K HDR movies from Disk. Even had an RTX 1050 bought during the pandemic, but didn't do much - the pcs upstairs handle that better.Pretty much fit everything and it connected to the server when I needed it to. I just didn't like the whine when the CPU warmed up.Took it apart, and did a lateral up and over - put a i9-9900 (not k) in it to reduce the TDP from 95w to 65w. That helped reduce load. Not enough to get rid of the occasional fan noise, though.Thought replacing the fan might do it. Put a Noctua NF-A12x15 on top of the Scythe...Hmmm... OK until I put the lid back on!Check - there is a case brace runs front to back and it touches both the fan AND the case lid.Sound amplifier! To the rescue - ID-COOLING IS-67-XT.YES! 2 mm lower than 69mm for the Scythe Big Shuriken 3.No longer contacts brace and lid!Put the Noctua fan on it - still significantly quieter than either the Scythe or the ID-Cooling OE fans.Prime 95 large FFT and you can hear it - if you open the furniture doors. Temps NOT a problem.Watching a movie? NOPE!As long as I can still buy UHD Disks from Amazon, big screen in the Family room is good!

Great cooling, fan can be loud under high load
First, the size. This cooler is very compact and fit snugly in my ITX motherboard (ASRock B550M-ITX/ac). You are given the option to orient the portion that has a bulk of the heat pipes in one of two configurations, and I was able to install it with no conflict to either my RAM or VRM heatsink. Installing the cooler was not difficult, the tools they provide are enough and the instructions are straightforward but kinda IKEA-ish so if you are having difficulty installing it you can find a youtube video that walks you through it (I did). I'm planning a small form factor build and momentarily installed this cooler in my micro-ATX case (Cooler master 300L) where I currently I have a Ryzen 7 5800x. This CPUs tend to run hot as it is, and I can definitely hear the fan kick in under full load, yet this cooler keeps it at a toasty 70C allowing me to maintain high clocks. I will say that high air turbulence negatively affects cooling in many cases. I saw this in my case (pun intended) which contributed to the higher fan noise, but changing the placement of my intake and outflow fans helped with both the cooling and the fan noise. Always make sure to not significantly disturb the flow of air exiting the cooler so that it can cool the heatsink with cooler air rather than recycled warmer air. The fact that the fan pulls air from the heatsink rather than blowing it down helps keep motherboard components cooler. If you are thinking of installing this cooler on an AMD system you should be adjusting your PBO settings in order to optimize your cooling as it is. This is a great buy for anyone making a compact system, just plan ahead and consider your airflow. I look forward to putting this to use in my Cooler Master NR2000 case.

Great
Arrived perfectly, cooler works amazingly, I'm surprised how CPU coolers have developed to work so well even in smaller form factors. Using it with a Noctua redux 120mm fan, so have no idea how the stock fan is.

Great cooler
Works exceptionally good. I'm able to run AMD Ryzen 9700x overclocked to 130W max power. It's pushing 90 C but works stable, no issues.

Low Profile Beast
This little cooler had proven QUITE effective in my use with a 7800X3D and 9800X3D. Both are on Xproto open-air frames, but the cooler easily handles both chips, keeping gaming temps 70C or below, and is nearly silent under any gaming load. The low-profile blends nicely into the Xproto design. The cooler comes with a multiple-direction mount for AMD so you can turn your cooling in the orientation to best suit your needs. Mounting it as I did the downdraft gives my VRMs a direct airflow and the orientation of the fins means the NVME drive gets solid air movement as well.If your board has too large of an I/O area cooler the various orientation options mean you can find an orientation that works for you with ANY motherboard.

metaphorical plastic screws
One of the screws broke off as I was tightening it on the CPU. Could still work, if the screw wasn’t lodged into the heatsink screw holes.
