OVOV 4 Pcs Heavy Duty Shelf Brackets Wall Mounted Industrial Metal Shelf Supports (8", 4pcs Black)

I saw one reviewer get a pair with really poor welds and bent mounting tabs, so I was a bit skeptical. The brackets I received were very well protected during shipping (individually wrapped with bubble wrap). The welds and paint finish are perfect. The boxed steel design makes them much stiffer than your typical shelving bracket. They have zero flex, and are capable of supporting quite a bit of weight without any sag. I cut a piece of 1/2" plywood that I lag bolted (Tapcons) into the cinder block wall behind my tongue and groove paneling. This worked as a very rigid backing plate to screw the shelf to. I'm very happy with my purchase.

These rods are really heavy duty, unfortunately they would not work for my project because they are too thick. But I can say they are well made and heavy duty and are made from durable materials.

Sturdy brackets, great for indoor and outdoor use

I used the brackets to hang a 50 lb bicycle rack in my garage. It is working well. I would have appreciated two more holes in the back plates to add sturdiness when screwed to a wall. Other than that, this is a well made, solid product.

I have several of these in my house and I just use red oak stair treads for the shelf. I do use larger lag screws to hold them to the wall studs though. I don't trust the smaller ones that are provided.

Poor quality welds, packaging was less than ideal and most likely how they became bent and paint chipped. More hassle to send them back than it's worth so I'll make due but not likely to recommend these or make future purchases with this in mind. Take away is just poor quality control. Not usable as they came which makes it less than ideal for anyone with little ability to fix them. The biggest concern is the horrible welds on these. Supposed to hold my PC but I'm not sure I feel comfortable doing such with such sub par built brackets.
