It’s really easy to use with a boost button for the painful ...
I bought this TENS machine 3 years ago when I was due my first baby. It proved to be a worthwhile investment and absolute godsend! My midwife helped to put it on and my husband was able to operate it for me. It’s really easy to use with a boost button for the painful contractions. I actually didn’t realise how much pain I was in until I had to have an epidural! My sister and several friends have used it over the last few years so it’s helped not just me! Some of them had 3 day long labours! I am about to have my second child so I looked it out and have ordered fresh pads. (Even though they are reusable) As they are for use in labour, hot sweaty etc, I have always ordered fresh ones. I think of it an extra wee gift to the family and friends who have borrowed it! ) I would recommend this machine to anyone interested in using one. After 3 years and several babies it still works brilliantly!! I would suggest storing it without the batteries in it…especially if it’s going to be a while before its used again.

Very happy with this
It has done a very good job through at least 5 labours now but the really good aspect is the special back pain program. The batteries seem to last for ages and it's easy to get quite addicted. I've also used it for stiff necks and muscle strain. The only downside is the pink picture of a pregnant lady which attracts a few comments in more macho environments.

Can't recommend this machine highly enough
Can't recommend this machine highly enough! I didn't use a TENs machine during the labour of my first child but I did during the birth of my second and it helped make this second labour a much more positive experience. For me, it was the only pain relief I needed the second time around. I used the 'boost' button during each of the contractions and it really helped me stay calm and focused.

Would recommend this product.
This machine was useful during the first few hours of contractions. Then after a certain point it did not help with my labour pains. Each person is different with regards to how much the tens machine can help with the pain.

All was fine. When my contractions started
I bought this as I heard it helped through labour pains. When the machine arrived, I tested it so I knew how to use it. All was fine. When my contractions started, it didn't work anymore. Quite annoying!

Brilliant TENS, would recommend to everyone
This was recommended to me by a friend who used it during her labour, and I loved it as much as her. I used it during the last stages of pregnancy for back pain, in labour and after. It was very simple to use, and massively effective. In the early stages of labour it worked fantastically. Due to (non-TENS related) complications, I had to have a c-section, and was in a lot of pain following that, so was able to use it after too, reducing the amount of drugs I had to take. I can't wait to use it for my next baby!!

An essential part of your birthing kit.
Excellent machine. It really works! I had a 17 hours labour and it was the only pain relief I needed for the first 15 hours.

good pain relief
Worked well but you need to take it off if you have to be attached to any equiptment to check your babies heart rate. Also usedit before labour for back pain. Really good
