Good for beginners
This is great if you have learnt 4-6 cords and you want to have a strum along sing along.It gives the cord shapes if you don't know them all.The print font is easy to follow as you play. I don't know all the songs so I will just have to listen to more John Denver.So how good is that!?!

Easy to get up and running
It's what it says it is strum and sing, just chords and words, lovely for a beginner like myself and great for any level. Having fun, it's so easy to get up and running with this book.

unfortunatley not worth it unless you know every song by heart in your mind, not a norm strum book
I like John Dencers music, and he is missed for sure. I have a few strum along books, but they have the notes in them to. This book, unfortunately is only the words and chords and that is it, so need to be well expereinced to use it and know the songs by heart in full, the songs have some duplicates to the John Denver Easy guitar, which was fine as this had more songs, but its a disppointment to look at. You are better off just to get the JoHne Denevr easy guitar as its definitely more vakue for money

perfect layout
love this book. many songs (not all) only take up one or two pages so it is perfect for learning the song without having to stop and turn the page. if you want to learn JD songs, get this book. song longer than two pages can be copied into the ample margins.

Combine awesome music with solid instruction
A very easy and intuitive book for young musicians to follow. My daughter is just starting guitar, and already, she has been able to follow the well written music scores. Recommended.

The good part is that it has all the lyrics. The part I dislike is that it only has the chords above the words.
