The quality control is not great, but due the cheap price, I give this 3 stars. Of the 20, 4 of them were unusable for me. 3 of them were not straight (where the screw part was at a slight angle). By themselves, this is fine. But I had them screwed in a row so that if one of them is tilted a little, it is very obvious. I drilled pilot holes with a drill guide to assure that the holes were all straight and at right angles. The 4th one I could not use had one side of the threads crushed. So in the end, I could only use 16 of these, which was fine with me since I only needed 12. Of the 12 that I was able to use, these were fine and very strong.

These little guys are super strong. I opened up the package, immediately placed one in the ceiling. Once it was fully screwed it, it did not move. Since it felt so solid, I hung a big glass dragonfly from it. I'm using one for a heavy fairy orb, four or so for several DIY lamps, and three or four to hang a room divider. I absolutely do not anticipate any issues.

We used these to hang curtain rods and curtains (light to medium weight) in our basement over all the windows. They actually worked very well and were easy to use. Plus they were more cost-effective.

Haven’t used yet, but they seem like what we need.
