Perfect for Quick Errands, Easy in and Out of the Car
I was searching for a lightweight, easy to fold, tandem stroller. I'm so happy I bought the Kinderwagon Hop. I have 13 month old twins who are on the petite size. We held onto our JoovyRo Twin to snap on the infant carseats as long as we could until they outgrew the height limit on their infant car seats. We have a BabyJogger City Select, which we love for walking around the neighborhood or long trips like the zoo, but it is just too heavy, bulky, and difficult to fold and unfold for daily in and out of the car for multiple errands use. I desperately needed something that I could just flip out and in to unfold and super light to lift in and out of the car, but it was impossible to find anything in stores. The Kinderwagon Hop is a win! It is only 21 pounds. I left the canopy off, so I'm thinking it may be even lighter. It unfolds just by pulling and stepping on one very easy to step flip-flop friendly step. It folds by lifting on that pedal and pushing on another, but it is so so easy to push. I can do it barefoot, and it does not require any hand dexterity. I also love that it's a tandem and fits down narrow store aisle or tight hallways at the doctor's. It's just perfect for errands. This stroller fits my twins well, but I do think it is best for children who are between 6 months and maybe 3 years old. The seat height is super short and it does not look comfortable for taller children. Also, the recline even in the back is not great or supportive. Kids need to be able to sit up themselves. I do also want to stress that this is an umbrella stroller. It has plastic wheels, so it will not have the smooth ride of a real stroller like the BabyJogger. I would not want this as my only stroller. It's not good for babies napping in, it has a bumpy ride, but it is perfect for errands and quick in and out of the car, which is exactly what I needed.

Better for older kids maybe
The good:Fits through the interior doors of your home because it is narrow and not too long, and goes around corners easily.Comfortable to push. The back seat seems pretty comfortable for little and big kids (1 and 3 1/2), but NOT RECLINED, because it is so shallow the child slides forward. It only works if child is propping herself up with feet on footrest and/or hands on front backrest. The bad: both seats are too shallow, exaggeratedly and unnecessarily in my opinion. The front seat only works with the footrest up, and the back seat if your kids' feet touch the footrest so they can prop themselves. My 1 year old twins are tall so this works, depending on length of babies' legs.It worked for keeping both babies with me inside the house for short periods of time, until the one on the front started crying. This always happened no matter who was in front because they felt too crowded by front bar being up under armpits. They like front bars on other strollers, just not this one. I also couldn't leave leg rest down because the babies would not have any way of settling into the seat. My older son just refused to sit in the front at all. So all three wanted the back seat, and no one could nap in that one even though it reclines. The kids (1 and 3) enjoyed this stroller for the view on walks only, but not for leisurely shopping or stopping the stroller for any length of time. To be fair, the other tandems we looked at did not seem too comfortable for napping or reclining, so maybe tandems will work better for our family when kids are older. For now, we use side by side strollers with a deep recline and huge canopies, and our kids last much longer before fussing to get out.

Best twin stroller available
Overall I love this stroller. It is light weight and compact and easy to open and close. It came mostly assembled. It is narrow and easy to maneuver. I love the stadium seating so the baby in back still has a view ( at least while the umbrella is not over head). The dislikes are that there is no storage. The extremely small pouch at the bottom is useless because of two metal bars that form an X over it. The seats are pretty narrow, especially the back seat, I'd like a couple more inches so they have plenty of space for their little bums. And when the umbrella is fully extended overhead the baby in back only has a view of the ground beneath them and even with a plastic viewing window for the parent you don't really have a good view of the babies. But the good definitely outweighs the bad. It is the best twin stroller I've found and people ask me where I got it all the time. I would recommend this stroller to any twin parent.

They have updated parts of the stroller since some of the reviews!
I received the Model 114 manufactured in October 2015. It is a V2.I just want to clarify because several of the negative reviews have been addressed. For starters the "strap" that locks the stroller when folded is not a snap, but a strap with a metal hook that links to the frame and it DOES stay locked. Also, the front seat reclines much more than the old reviews claim. There are 3 levels that click into place. I'd say it reclines maybe 3-4".I have no trouble accessing the basket, it is slightly smaller than some other strollers, but it works for what we need. The canopy is HUGE!! I has a zippered part that when opened gives the canopy another 8" or so and covers the front passenger plenty. If the child in the back is taller, they may hit their head on the canopy when opened, but it is easily removable.I think one of my favorite features is that it is literally the same width and length of my Graco single stroller, it is taller, but that is a plus! When I just have my older daughter in the front seat and the canopy opened, no one can even tell it's a double stroller. This stroller is amazing!!! I am a petite Mom and don't want to be pushing around a heavy, super long double stroller. This stroller met all my needs!!!!

Worth it! Perfect stroller!!!
I love this stroller! I have a 2 month old and a 16 month old right now! My Chico carssrat fits in the back and my 16 month old rides up front! I drive a GMC Acadia so Soacenis limited as I have older kids too so my 3rd row is always up. I love that I can put this in the back and sill fit groceries etc in the back too! It’s perfect for a family with a car too! It’s so much smaller than my graco double and a heck of a lot lighter! Love this stroller!!! Worth the investment!!!!

No customer service help at all
I'm not one who enjoys leaving negative reviews. I do have to say I'm disappointed in the quality of the Kinderwagon Hop Tandem Umbrella Stroller. After approximately 12 uses the wheel completely broke off. What's even more disappointing is the lack of customer service we have received. We've been trying to contact Kinderwagon for a month via phone, email, and Facebook messages and have received zero response. What a disappointment! From what I've read we aren't the only customers having this issue. :( 1 star from us until we at least get some closure.

Great for one-year-old twins
As a mom of one-year-old twins, I love this stroller! It is SO compact and easy to fold. And light! We use it for travel and keep it in the car for trips to stores. We also have a double bob, which is better for long walks. I imagine that the kinderwagon hop could hurt your back after a while, but that hasn't happened to me yet. By the way, it is true that the kid in the back will torment the kid in the front. Lots of hair pulling and head patting. :)

Amazing stroller we had never heard about before seeing on Amazon...
This stroller is a well-kept secret. We are very very pleased with this purchase for our two kids who are now 1 and 3. We purchased 6-months ago and have only positive things to say about this stroller. We took risk buying it online without seeing it, but we are happy we did. The construction is high quality and very stable. The handles are nice and tall, which is great for a tall dad, but not to high for my short wife :)If you are looking for a double stroller that won't take up the space of a VW Beetle, this is your pick, buy it!Update: after about 2-years, we still love this stroller. Sure, it is wearing down a bit, but the construction is so sturdy, it amazes me how much my wife can hang off the handle bars with 2 kids on board and it doesn't even flex.

I was looking for an easy to use
I was looking for an easy to use, small (tandem) double stroller that could accommodate an infant and a toddler. My littles are 16 months apart and had to tag along for school drop off of their brothers. I knew it would primarily be used for quick trips from the car, into school, and back to the car. Although I would have loved a double stroller for use on the trails behind our house (like my single Bob) I knew I didn't have the space to keep a double Bob in my car all the time and a stroller like that would also would make getting into school awkward. We live in an area that gets a lot of snow and roads/sidewalks around the school are not always cleared right away. I am happy to report this stroller (and I) survived winter. Whether several inches of slush, snow, or a "wintery mix"-- we made it in to school. It did require a little muscle (which I don't have much of) in the winter conditions. We certainly didn't glide into school gracefully but we got there (and I wasn't out of breath).-Easy to assemble-One or two times of use and it became second nature to unfold and collapse.-I used my graco infant car seat attached to the front seat of the stroller for the first 6 months. I initially questioned the security of the infant seat (it doesn't "click" in- just strapped in). After hopping many curbs and mad dashes into school I felt very comfortable with how the infant seat was strapped in. I'd always give it a little wiggle to make sure it wasn't loosely strapped.-Not a lot of space for toddler in back seat when infant seat is in place- but she didn't mind, I actually never buckled her in and it was always a quick trip in and out of school.-I've now put the baby in the back seat and toddler in the front seat as recommended and have found maneuverability much more awkward (no one- handed pushing). I know this is because of my very heavy toddler in the front seat and expect the baby to catch up soon or maybe in a few months I will just have them trade spots.-I still have room in the back of the car for groceries.-Not a lot of storage space in the stroller itself- but I wasn't looking for any. Also difficult to access storage.-I have gotten several comments from other mom's- they didn't even realize it was a double stroller.Overall very happy with the Kinderwagon and I'm looking forward to using it this summer!

Best double umbrella stroller.
I bought this double umbrella stroller for my grand babies and it's the best double stroller we've tried. It's easy to open and close which is especially nice. The babies seem to enjoy riding in it also. The only negative I could see would be if your children are long legged. The seat base is not super long but it has not been as issue with the twins however buckling them in on both seats is a must. I would highly recommend this stroller.

I really wanted to love this stroller
I really wanted to love this stroller. After far too much research, this was one of the only strollers on the market with the following specifications:-Double Stroller-Lightweight (Under 22 lbs)-Accepts one infant car seatI've had this stroller for a few weeks now and I am sure I will be returning it. Unfortunately it is so tough to push! I certainly cannot push this with one hand... picture purchasing a small tray of food while at the zoo and trying to carry it with one hand to the table.. yeah, even that was very difficult. I almost spilled all of the food, and I was only carrying it for 20 feet. The wheels seem very stiff or something. If I could change the wheels (take the ones off of my Baby Trend Snap N Go and put them on this stroller) I would be fully satisfied. I almost think it is a defect because of how difficult it is. (And yes, I am aware that the front wheels swivel, the wheels have not been locked and it is still tough)Pros:-Super compact! I purchased it before my second child is born and have been using it with just one baby. The extra "storage" in the second seat is nice-Very easy fold-Accessories work great. Wind shield covers well and canopy is awesome.Cons:-I am 5'6 and my hubby is 5'7 and we continually kick the stroller as we walk. I would have to walk a little differently to avoid this.-Does not accept my Chicco car seat (I knew this prior to purchasing, but was willing to compromise if the stroller was worth it)-THE WHEELS! Maneuverability is awful. This wasn't even a major concern for me, but the fact that I like my $40 stroller better than this one tells me something's not right...-This stroller is kind of expensive to not be everything I wanted. At this point, I'm willing to purchase something heavier if it means pushing will be easier. All in all, this stroller is a great idea, just needs some more fine-tuning before I spend $$$ for it.

Really great product because it's really compact. It's one of the only stroller that manage to fit in the entrance of our townhouse.

No bells and whistles but easy to fold
No bells and whistles but easy to fold, lift and fit in car. It's exactly what i expected. I wish the front wheels swiveled or there was something on the back to help you tip it back when making turns. Back child can touch front child (kick or pull hair) but it has not been an issue. Also back seat reclines a bit but my daughter still sits up straight because she holds into seat in front if her. Shade works great up but is a bit in way when down- we usually take it off. My girls are very happy in it.
