EARTHTREE Dashcam HD 1080p Car Camera with WDR G-Sensor Loop Recording Motion Detection and Parking Monitor

First of all the one downside. Screen not very big, but it is very clear. Have been using this for about a week now without any issues. Comes complete with two types of mount, suction and self adhesive and all leads required. Very good value for money

My first dashcam so I can't give it a comparative review, but I'm well impressed. Video is detailed and smooth, and much better than I'd hoped in darkness: the sample videos in other reviews don't do it justice. The camera responds rapidly to changes in brightness, like bright street lighting, so that the image does not become saturated. You can take still pictures like an ordinary (well-spec'd) camera. The colour in videos & stills is a little washed-out, but who needs perfection for this purpose? The unit is tiny and fiddly to use, but I expected that. It fits entirely (apart from mount) behind my rear-view mirror, so I can't really see the small screen, which worries me not at all. Even the manual is pretty good, although it took me a few minutes to realise that "o" means "off"! I couldn't enter my full car reg. into the unit, but received an overnight reply from Earthtree support with new firmware which fixed it.Have recommended it to my son who was asked if he could recommend a dashcam to fit to their company's forklift trucks ...which conjures up strange images of fairgrounds!

Brilliant Camera excellent motion detection , works greathowever i have to put it in the bin as the suction cup docent work it fall off the wind screen within 10 second of been updon't buy it.

Its ok but no sim card although it says there is.

Would recommend getting one if you are unsure about spending a fortune on a larger one. It's only about 6cm wide so it sits nicely behind the rear view mirror. I had to use the windscreen attachment with the sticky pad as the suction one kept falling off but I would have used it in the end anyway.

The camera is excellent for the money, night vision not brilliant.Only gripe was it took out my DAB and FM on radio when the power cable was anywhere near the windscreen. Contacted Earthtree who responded fast and came up with some solutions which unfortunately had little effect.Solution was to use this camera as a rear camera and buy another for the front [ the new one does not affect radio]. The camera is small neat and works very well,

So far so good working ok the only thing is the screen is a bit small...

Great little camera, picture quality is great in daylight and acceptable at night time.The instructions are vague but you can get the desired result with trial and error.The cable is very long, I have a Ford Galaxy and I have run the cable from the cigarette lighter across to the side pillars, up beside the windscreen and across to the top to the below the rear view mirror and there is still cable to spare.Considering installing one on the rear windscreen.
