Keeps spiders and bugs at bay and away
Does require a tad hand to eye coordination to achieve the desired result. That said, the product is light to hold, its suction is fine; works exceedingly well to gain control of the situation and expel spiders and bugs. Most pleasing in pink finish as it makes the task seem less onerous. Overall a very good addition to the tool kit for dealing humanely, a worthwhile investment.

Works brilliantly!
After a lifetime of hating spiders, (but not wanting to kill them) I’m really chuffed with this! It does exactly what it’s meant to, without killing them. Wish I’d had one years ago!

Insect Vacuum
This product allows you to suck bugs up without hurting them, you can then deposit the insect outside. A common complaint of products of this type is the suction is not very strong, as far as I can tell this is deliberate design feature because strong suction risks injury to the insect.Because of the weak suction you often have to get point blank range to suck the insect in, preferably putting the tube over the insect trapping it inside the tube, if the bug has anything to grip on to it can resist the suction( eg a curtain provides better grip than a glass window) and you will have to gently move the tube about to cause the insect to lose its grip and get sucked in.I have caught a one inch spider on a table using this, I had to get very close and the spider managed to run away a couple of times before getting sucked in.When sucking up spiders I recommend you clean out the tube afterwards to make sure there is no spider silk left behind as insects sucked in afterwards can get tangled up in the silk. The device uses a spinning fan to generate suction with a grill at the bottom of the tube to stop the insect being sucked in to the fan. I recommend if you're going to use this on insects small enough to slip through the grill, switch off the suction as soon as the insect is sucked in otherwise they may slip past the grill into the fan.Care must be taken when trying to get the bug out of the tube, one time I was tapping the tube against a wall to shake a spider off the end of the tube and I accidentally squashed the spider's leg against the wall.It comes with two tubes that can be linked together to increase reach, which comes in very handy when trying to get bugs high on the ceiling. It is also sometimes possible to coerce insects inside the vacuum without using suction which saves on battery, this comes with a free battery by the way.I was not impressed by the turbo feature, it's just a smaller opening to the vac.I have yet to try it on big spiders, personally I doubt it will work on a big spider unless they walk in of their own accord. I had a blue version of this product for about two years before it broke when the battery connector wire tore off and this pink one seems identical so I expect the same from this. Overall, I am happy with this product and would recommend it.

Pretty Good
Really good, as someone who's scared of any thing crawling, it works a treat. Don't like killing spiders so I'm able to vacuum them up ( unharmed) and place them out side , the larger one do hang on sometimes, but a good shack dislodges them. Also captured a moth and was released without harm. Would recommend.

Can’t Believe It - it Works!
I have never heard of this Spider Vac before and laughed when I saw it. However, my partner, who hates spiders, thought it would be worth trying!I was totally amazed when it arrived the next day and so did a large spider on the kitchen wall! Very quickly she had the spider inside the Vac, took it outside and let it free!Who thinks these things up. A clever inventor who has taken the fear of spiders from my partner! No worries of it escaping and running up her sleeve and no having to squash to death a defensive spider!Recommend for anyone wanting to remove a spider, or probably any bug, from their house to set it free. Not too keen on the pink though!

Suction not amazing
Suction not strong enough to get the bigger spiders without a fight so that makes it not very good value had a bit of bother getting the batteries in but all said still useful and easy to use

Light with good suction
I hate spiders so much that i have set up a camera in my kitchen so i can check for spiders before i go out there. But now i have bought this spider vacuum i feel i may be able to actually deal with a spider if needed. It is easy to put together and i find the suction quite good as been practising on different things around the house. Although this is quite long i still felt i would be too close to a living spider so i got a couple more clear tubes so i could extend it further which has made a great improvement. I still haven't had to try it out on a spider thankfully but i feel it would suck them up quite easily. I have used it on flies and moths etc and its been great. I am hoping i wont need to use it on a spider as they freak me out but if i did encounter one i now think i could deal with it as long as it wasn't to big then i would have to get someone else to get it for me.

Does the job ..
Mum had an explosion of little fruit flies in her kitchen from some fruit she had left in a bag and hadn't realised was there. This was brilliant at hoovering them all up and getting them outside.A couple of days after purchasing it Mum had another crisis of a bug on her ceiling. Of all things it turned out to be a cricket. It's now bouncing around her garden.I hate killing anything so for me this was an ideal solution. The battery will not last overly long if you have a few insects to hoover up, so I found turning it on and off between each catch helped that. I was concerned it would harm the flies, but they all flew off ok

Works as advertised
This bug vacuum works as expected. It's very useful for getting spiders and other bugs outside without killing them. One may need to insist a bit with spiders, as they cling to the ceiling or their webs, but if the suction were more powerful, it would just rip the insects apart. The suction is sufficient, and with the long tube, one can reach the ceiling in most homes.
