I like the taste and use on most runs

For reference I'm not an elite athlete or do any great distances, my training tends to be an hour of beep test and sprint training a couple of times a week and some boxercise once a week. I bought this drink to help me keep hydrated and give me a boost to work hard when I train. I like ginger and find that this is a great tasting drink as I find the flavour relatively subtle. I would say that if anyone was going to create a ginger flavoured drink then I can't imagine it being any better than this. I find it very drinkable and to mix it I put just a little bit of water with it in my drinks bottle, shake it vigorously for a short time, then just top it up and that works fine for me. I find it does give me the boost I'm looking for, as much as I'd have expected anyway but I don't expect miracles. I'll happily buy this again when I run out.

Better than caffeine, could do with a touch more flavour

Absolutely love this. I bumped into the Active Root team at the London marathon expo and had a try of the drink. I am a big ginger fan and was surprised to see an isotonic drink based on ginger. The taste is great especially if you are a ginger fan like me. It didn't give me any gastrointestinal issues as some sports drinks do due to their sweetness. I am already over half way through my first purchase and I will definitely be getting another container once I run out. If you like your sports drinks to not taste sickly sweet and be in balance with your body then this is definitely worth a tr.

This is the most brilliant product; absolutely love it. I use it for running, some quite long distance and some fairly tough trail running and it makes such a difference to my energy levels as well as keeping me hydrated.It is best to dissolve it in a little warm water then add to cold/cool water to put in your drinking bottle. The taste is great and being made of all natural ingredients there are no nasty side effects such as a sore tummy, indigestion that I often used to get using certain gels.I work in a school which and my job is pretty full on - I often make up a water bottle with Active Root in it to get me through the school day too.

Brilliant Ginger taste, and never has caused me any issues (down below) when running. I normally make one of these up 1-2 hours before a run to get hydrated, works a charm. I would highly recommend this to anyone out there who runs or exercises regularly.Only one small issue that I can find is that it does not dissolve too well in cold water. This is easily remedied with hot water (which actually is really nice- to have a hot ginger drink before going out into the cold), but not so great if you are more in a rush!All in all, good product, good price and good resultsp.s. my girlfriend likes to drink it too (and she doesn't even run...)

Was looking for a healthier alternative to Dextrose and Cyclic Dextrin to power my most intense crossfit workouts. They don't put any crap in this which made it an obvious go to. It's also similar in price.This kept me going through a Spartan Super. It tastes great and is truly refreshing, especially when mixed in cold water. Yes you sometimes come across one or two undiluted specs but they aren't a problem. Just shake well.Whilst I am hesitant of products which claim that their ingredients are scientifically 'proven', I think it did help sooth my stomach after downing an SIS isotonic gel (which I now know irritates my stomach).

Makes such a refreshing drink whether your exercising or not. I’ve also mixed it with other flavours & it goes well. It also makes a nice hot drink! If you have a cold put some fresh lemon juice with it.
