Surprisingly good for the price
Surprisingly good for the price. Being a 3 section stand (rather than 4 section) means it is quite rigid, certainly fine for use with battery flashguns such as the Canon 580EX with a brollie or softbox and it would probably be ok even with small mains-powered monobloc units as well.

one of them broke straight out of the box. ...
one of them broke straight out of the box.... the top extension came right out from the others when i was extending it.i bought this for my HTC VIVE basestations to sit on .... more hassle than it's worth to organise delivery back to seller so ended up taping up the broken extension pole.chinese rubbish please avoid and spend the extra cash to get properly made tripods.

This is not heavy duty. Can't handle a vinyl roll, the middle section bends and expect the light stands to buckle. If you buy this for anything other than personal use, I hope you have public liability insurance.
