Expensive for what they are but have worked!
I have stuck these to my sofa and also my wood furniture, I do think they are expensive for what they are (basically glorified double sided tape) but they have stopped my cats destroying the furniture (they have moved onto the carpets now..). I haven't tried removing them from the wooden furniture yet so I can't comment on whether or not they damage the furniture, they are very sticky so I imagine they will pull some varnish off. They are very see through so unless you look at the furniture from certain angles you don't even notice they are on there so for now I am happy for them to stay there until maybe they get old and peel off on their own? No damage done to the sofa's when removed- I found they didn't stick to the sofas as well and had to replace them a couple of times, this may be due to cats attempting to scratch and pulling them off though! I also bought some cheap double sided tape to do the same job and this also worked BUT it's not see through so can't just be left on the furniture like I have done with these.

Product did the sticky bit but was a bad fail for me and my cat re stopping any clawing.
Had no problem with applying it (to carpeted stairs) but it made things worse. No repellent qualities for my cat who thought it a great new game and within minutes managed to shred and remove the strips. Unfortunate result is that after weeks of scolding him for using this area and partial success in re-directing him to purpose made cat scratch posts, in his eyes, I've just given him a new toy and re-focused his attention to the stair area. Total fail!My next cunning plan is to try a stair basket to cover up and/or a proposed recommended cheaper DIY solution (from another cat owner) that combines purchase of clear UVC table protector (or similar more robust item) that can be cut to size, plus use of 13mm hemline twist upholstery screws to secure, all available on Amazon.

So far so good
Had reservations but seems to work, cat scratching and pulling up carpet on stairs and in doorways. Put these down in the areas she went for and now she avoids them! Have spotted her testing them and does not like the sticky strip at all. Bit expensive for what they are but saves my darpet from being replaced! Only problem is not getting tangled in it as very sticky. They are clear as in picture so unless you know they are there you won't notice.

Retrain your cat within 24 hrs.
It's definitely doing the job its meant to do. Retrained my cat within a day! Very sticky, but it does struggle to stick to furniture that is fabric. It wont stay put for long. Comes off of hard surfaces without leaving a sticky residue.

I wouldn't recommend this product if yr pet is persistent
This product is useless my Suzie just kept scratching at it until it came off, which wasn't long, it's a good idea pity it didn't work, I gave 3 stars for the quick delivery

Good product, but not suitable for my sofa
Product did not work on my sofas as it is textured, but customer service was excellent throughout.I can see how the product would be effective on a sofa better suited to it and was exactly what I was looking for.

OK, bit disappointing
Despite it's claims it does not stick easily to carpet which was my main reason for purchasing it as it falls off. But it did stick to my new sofa (fabric rather than loose carpet fibres) and the cats don't like it so that's a good thing.

my cat laughed in the face of this,i put it on my sofa as instructed, popped out for five, came back to find a piece of it scrumpled in the corner, then i watched him bite and peel it off and play with it.i dont know what to do now,ive tried everything to stop him using my sofa as a scratching place.rather expensive to not work. :-(
