Ella Sabatini 1680 ml Large Storage Jar

I bought a few of these to try them out - after having measured my shelves and found exactly this brand and size to be the best fit.The first impression was a very solid packaging, leaving absolutely no chance for them to break during shipping. The jars themselves have a good finish and a plastic seal around the top to make the lids sit tight, allthough not completely air tight, I would guess, without actually having tested it.Unfortunately they are not stackable. Nobody had claimed that they would be, but I just had the belief that they would. If you need this feature there are other similar jars for sale at Amazon that are claimed to be stackable.The 1680 ml jar holds exactly a 500g bag full (without the bag itself) of some pasta types - or about 600g of juniper berries.

Great jars, they fit perfectly in my cupboard. I use them for storing nuts, seeds, dried coconut and chilies. The only drawback is that they're not airtight (although the manufacturer doesn't claim they are).

I purchased this jar to store square pre-packed individual coffee bags, so I looked closely at the advertised dimensions.They were incorrect so now I am stuck with admittedly a nice glass jar but no use to me.The actual outside dimensions are height 19.4 cm, square width and depth 11 cm.The inside is obviously smaller.The advertised sizes were 26.8 x 21.4 x 21 cm so it is a lot smaller than they said.So I cant use it for what I wanted hence the 1 star

I love these glass jars, they are simple and elegant.Obviously the cube is the most efficient shape for storage. These jars are ideal containers for dry goods in the kitchen - flour, raisins, nuts, pasta, rice etc. They are designed to look good so I have them on display in my glass fronted cupboard. There are three sizes, all of which fit my standard cupboard space. This is the largest size standing at 23cm, so fits vertically in my cupboard.Another reviewer has complained of the seal splitting. The seal is plastic, so MUST be removed before putting the glass jar in the dishwasher.p.s. there is another company selling similar jars but with slightly different dimensions. I recommend you measure your cupboard space before ordering.

Bought it for cookies! It's good! Only thing is, it is not completely air tight.
