This brand was recommended when I searched online for carry on backpaks. Went with the 40L bc can expand./compress with side zipper. Came in a variety of colors. Had to get it when it went on sale. Well packaged and came on time.. Extra bags for shoes, toiletries or small clothing, and another bag I'll use for dirty lingerie and socks. Material and seams appear sturdy. Nice trim. I wanted one that would hold some shape when empty, not flimsy nylon, but still could be rolled up to store away. Spacious for a long weekend trip. Spaces for a water bottle and cell phone on sides. 4 zippered compartments. Wish the inside one was split into mesh and waterproof compartments instead of 1 entire mesh one. Lighter than a rolling bag. New item smell, not bad, but aired it out of plastic bag for a few days. The buckles are not very rigid - skimped on the plastic. Hopefully won't break but can purchase replacements I think. Can't wait to use it. Update: Fit a lot for my weekend trip. About 4 pounds. Not used to carrying that much weight on my shoulders which resulted in some muscle spasms in my back each time I took it off. Will have to practice before my next trip. Was able to fit it in the hotel drawer out of the way and take out what I needed keeping things clean and neat. Another drawback is front pockets have no sections for pens, eye glasses, etc so end up rolling around. But overall, was fine for the price.

Purchased my first one and then everyone in the family needed one for work travel or those quick weekend getaways. This has allowed me to start being a carry on person instead of baggage claim and I love it! Straps are comfortable. Fabric is great

Great travel bag. Survived a two week trip to Norway, Netherlands and Finland. Wasn't disappointed with the purchase. Will buy a second one for my wife when we go to Japan.

I am COMPLETELY shocked. This is THE weekend backpack I needed. Weekend bags are painful on the shoulder, so I much prefer a backpack. I fit:- 5 T-shirts- 1 pair of shorts- 1 lightweight jacket- 1 bathing suit- 1 dress- PJ top and pants- Undergarments and socks- 1 beach towel (the flat microfiber kind)- 1 flat travel mirror- 2 bags of toiletries- 1 hat- 1 pair of sandals- 1 purse- 1 beach tote- 1 book- a 24-oz Bubba thermos for water- misc chargers, eye mask, etc.All of this without needing to expand it. I still probably fit another couple of things in there. The outside buckle straps flatten it even more. Stoked that it fits a water bottle. (Tight fit, though. It will only hold a narrow bottle).Packed full, it measured 17" tall, 8" deep, and 10" wide.I have no worries about this fitting as a personal item on Allegiant. Very happy with this purchase!
