Silver Style Magnetic Soap Holder Chrome 11339

I bought this to match an existing identical product, purchased some years previously & still looking good, on refitted bathroom - it was great to be able to get a matching one after 5 or more years. The soap holder looks good and works very well - it is screwed into the wall, so is very secure & does not fall off.

Brilliant soap holder, had mine for over a decade now, got them in the shower, by the bath and at my 2 basins. Visitors often comment on it. Much cheaper to buy a bar of soap then liquid, and no bottles to get rid of after so better for the environment. No messy sink-tops, or sticky soap. I'm ordering another one now for a friend as her children think my magnetic soap-holder is wonderful.Bought a more expensive chrome one for my in-laws but whilst the holder was nice and solid (and looked posher than this one), the disc that went into the soap soon rusted through and in my opinion became dangerous. Bought the Croydex one just to replace their rusted disc, but whilst it hasn't rusted the Croydex disc is a bit sharp around the edges and still not as good as this one in my opinion.

If you don't like to have gungy soap sitting in water on the basin of your bathroom then use this soap holder. It's just two screws in the wall and the magnet holds your soap and makes it last longer by not sitting in water. We have it in our two shower rooms. Lasts for years.

The item looked good at first, but fell apart the magnet fell out of the fixture so I had to glue it back in, the company did send me a free bag and postage to return it, but they did not consider that I do home shopping as I cant get out and about as easily as I once could , so in the end I just used glue to stick it back together, but to be honest I wasn't happy with the company afterwards and wouldn't recommend this product, I bought a cheaper one and have had no trouble with it.

It's made from thick white plastic covered in chrome paint. The magnet was only held in with a small splodge of rubber glue so it fell out after 2 weeks. There is nothing mechanical holding the magnet in place so I would expect it to do the same again even if I were to get another one from Plumbing Supermarket.

A very useful little gadget the one I bought recently was to replace the previous one which I had had for about 20 years ago. It saves having a lot of suds in a soap dish

Described as chrome, but it is actually plastic. I required this for the bathroom to match other chromed metal fittings and it does match but disapointed that it was plastic.

I have been using the same one of these soap holders for about 30 years in the bathroom, and it is just as useful and in the same new condition as when it was installed, and has never caused a problem, and the chrome has not worn off. Thus, from Amazon, I have bought another for a friend who has admired it. An excellent product.
