Q: Does this work with all legacy (1st gen.) Soundcast Speakers as well?

The Legacy units do not have integrated Bluetooth capability. In order to use with the VGtx, you would need an additional Bluetooth receiver with 3.5mm output.

Q: Does this work with Bose QuietComfort 35 wireless bluetooth speakers without any delay?

I just got mine set up with the Bose QuietComfort 35 II bluetooth HEADPHONES, and I can discern a slight delay. Most noticeable if the TV speakers are still on. Turn the speakers down, and it's only noticeable if you watch people's lips move. I tried to set it up with the digital Optical Pass-Thru to avoid that issue, because I use a Sonos Playbar for TV sound, and it uses optical input. But using the optical input, I couldn't get the sound to work on headphones, so I switched to the analog input cable, and the sound appeared. If you are able to use digital and get it to work, the delay might disappear. The literature suggests that it will. I gave up fairly early on the digital option. Let me know. Good luck.
