These Golf Ball Bulbs have to be struck gently but firmly or they break since they are rather fragile. I broke two until I used a Number 9 iron out of a sand bunker. Aerodynamically they leave something to be desired. However, I did manage to power several over the green and into the hole. They make a 'popping' and 'whistle' as they leave the tee. The Club Secretary has banned me from using them and so are now illuminating my home which is ok-they are good for that purpose too.

These 3W LED B22 bayonet fitting bulbs put out an enormous amount of light for what is only 3W and are being used outside on our wall for lighting,I've also changed a few of the bulbs in the house for gentle night-time lighting which is great so everything isn't pitch-black but doesn't cost a fortune to provide background lighting between dusk and dawn.These are vastly superior compared to those horrible dim CFL bulbs that were forced upon us a few years ago.Highly recommended to anyone looking for background lighting.
