I live in Hawaii and I could not find a hole saw that would drill in a stainless steel sink. I bought 5 that did not work but said they would locally but they did not work. These worked perfect.

These bits are amazing! Had a piece of metal that was around 3/8" thick, and with just some cutting on on my press these babies just cut through with no issues. For the price and product, I would definitely recommend.

I have used these bits a few times now and they BITE! I have had no issues so far with them cutting. They are sharp and accurate. I used these to cut out slam locks in aluminum. I have not noticed any teeth breaking off during my use so far. It cuts through metal like butter. I recommend this product for those looking for a good metal hole saw.Update: Upon using the 1-1/8 hole saw for the first time, the shaft shattered within a few seconds of drilling into 1/8 aluminum sheet metal. Luckily, this set comes with two extra shafts so I was able to replace the shaft and finish drilling the hole. This was a little disappointing as I had no issues when using the 2" hole saw. Time will tell on how long these will last.

I think these would be fine for mild steel, especially if used in a drill press.I was able to cut a 2" hole in an old piece of equipment. The part I cut out had been welded before. The welds are, of course, variable hardness. When the teeth impacted the welds some teeth -- then most teeth broke off.It was a trooper though, the two last remaining teeth finally made it through all the way. Given the low cost, and difficult task, I think it performed well even if it destroyed itself in the doing.Caveats:1) I used a handheld drill and when the teeth caught, it whipped around and twisted (ask my wrists!). This violent action may have broken teeth off. If you use a drill press you may see better results.2) I was cutting through old welds -- which were rough until it got started, and can be very hard in places. This was not an easy cut I asked it to do.3) Since I was drilling out an old pin hole (see photo) I used a wooden plug pounded into the old hole so the center drill bit could have something to center the hole saw. If I had used a steel plug, the center drill drilling through the steel would have slowed down the feed rate and may have protected the teeth.

These hole saws work great! I had to make almost 180 1/2 inch holes over 2 weeks. While the hole saw held up for every single one, the pilot bit had to be replaced about halfway through.

My only complaint so far, the depth these drill to is very limited. for the correct use case, the are very good purchase,

Good product work as intended

Used a be but for the first time for why I bought this kit based on the high recommendations and rating. Unfortunately I’m not impressed as, the very first joke I drilled, 4 out of the 5 carbide teeth broke off drilling through maybe 1/8” thick metal.And I can’t seem to find anyway to try to this item once it’s been used? Return policy days 30 days in mused condition? I’d take a replacement for the hike saw I used the lost 4 of the 5 teeth, but using my cellphone, I can’t seem to find out how to context the place that sole it! Therefore, 1 star!UPDATE:The company replied back very quickly and replaced the hole saw in less then a week of contacting them of the issue mentioned above. I have upgraded this product from 1 star to 3 stars based on that. I can't say one way or the other if this will happen again or not and if it's down the road, how they'll reply and what they'll do, if anything?

I bought this set primarily to cut a 1.75" dia hole through a 3/16" steel plate bumper in order to attach a panel-mount trailer wiring socket. It worked well in a cordless drill for that purpose. Go slow and steady with lots of pressure and plenty of cutting fluid. It will catch occasionally and just about rip your arm off but you'll get through eventually ;-).

Da usare con trapano a colonna.... Peccato che una avesse un dente rotto perché nella valigetta durante il trasporto probabilmente hanno sbattuto molto forte tra di loro, anche perché il dente rotto l'ho trovato all'interno, ma l'ho usata comunque senza problemi.Il taglio è stato rapido, molto più di una punta elicoidale per dimensioni.La lubrificazione durante il taglio è necessaria.PS. Fori fatti su una putrella ad H per uno spessore di oltre 5mm in pochissimo tempo.

Con lubricación funcionan bien.

I like the package with replacement drills. The product seems to be of decent quality but after 30 minutes out of the box it broke. As you can see on the picture all the teeths broke of the main part.
