Could not get the device to work on a modern ...
Could not get the device to work on a modern up to date Mac Book pro. Device was recognised on USB list but never showed up for configuration. Drivers were supplied on a mini-cd that you can't put in slot loading drive. Much correspondence with support team, pointed toward some downloadable drivers but that did not fix issue. " the MAC driver have different Verion for MAC OS which the lastest is 10.10, but i note your MAC OS is 10.12 Version, "Eventually device stopped showing up on device chain. Was promised a replacement - never arrived.

Does NOT work with Raspberry Pi
While the product description list this WiFi dongle as ideal for Raspberry Pi / Pi2. It is not Plug & Play compatible with Raspbian Pixel with all updates via Ethernet, LibreELEC 7.03 or 8.0 & Recalbox 4.01 on a Pi Zero with a Zero4U USB hat. It is also not compatible with NOOBS but very few WIFI devices are. This device did work Plug & Play very well in Windows 10 64bit however. I will be returning the device for not being as described.

Excellent easy wi-fi connection
This comes as three parts: the usb adaptor, the antenna and the small CD with the driver. The CD didn't auto load, so I copied the driver folder (windows) and pasted it into the computer downloads folder. Then I plugged in the usb (having screwed the antenna in), found the wireless network and typed the passphrase in. The window soon showed the connection, and the wi-fi now connects very quickly on start-up. I am very pleased with this wi-fi connection as my micro computer case is too small (back plate width 8cm) to take a normal card, which is 12 cm. The adaptor also arrived a day earlier than expected, and I am very happy with the price I paid.

probably not the best to get if your computer doesn't have a CD-driver
Don't have a CD driver on my laptop and the software wasn't downloadable from online as it promised to be so it's a bit of a bummer. :/

Doesn't work for Windows XP despite claiming it does.
I bought this as I needed to connect an old XP laptop to a wireless network to get files and photos off it. Unfortunately, despite the description saying "use latest Realtek CD driver and Compatible with Windows xp/7/8 and latest WIN10 OS , Vista,", the CD has no XP drivers and windows couldn't find them on or offline (plugged in LAN). I think by xp, they mean Vista. I had to return it.

Dual Band? No it’s not. Ok I’ll admit it then says 2.4G but this is not dual band and of the three I ordered one was Dead on Arrival and went straight in the bin. Amazon returns are too painful so all three went in the bin and I’ve bought proper dual band adaptors elsewhere
