Love these lamps. I bought 2 and have them a couple of feet apart. Very cozy lighting yet I am able to read by them, perhaps because there are 2. I searched for the bulbs the unit said but found a regular bulb works just as well. I looked at many lamps like these and chose these because the on/off switch is near the base of the lamp, so much more convenient. The lamps arrived in perfect condition. Highly recommend.

I bought this for my Senior Dad, who confuses easily. The on/off switch is on the cord, but close to the base. He was able to recognize the switch, and work it easily. The shape, and base are just the right size for a nightstand, next to a bed. The lamp has a maximum bulb of only 40watt, so it's not really made for reading, but perfect for safety when getting in and out of bed. I'd recommend this lamp. It works just right for my family. Seller was prompt in shipping, and price was reasonable.

The switch is much further down the cord than the pictures on this page. Pictures show around a 4" gap between lamp case and switch. I find the placement very annoying There is actually around 18" gap on the pair I have. My wife likes them, otherwise I think I'd send them back.

These are very simple lamps and do the job— providing gentle bedside lighting— just as expected. My only reservation is that the switch is a good 18” along the cord from the base, which means it hangs well over the side of the table, which means groping along the cord to locate the switch.

Nice simple design lamps. Reasonably priced. The shades are a bit narrow, so don't use more than a 40W bulb as labelled, or the the shades might discolor from the heat over time. If you need more light use a LED lamp, they run cooler than incandescent bulbs.

Two lamps for a good price was what I was looking for. The build quality is what I was expecting. Not too small but not overly large either. Easily put together and worth it in my opinion.

A bit flimsy...the shade on one of the lamps is askew because the metal "spider ring" is slightly bent. Not bad, but not Great.

Beautiful, well made lamps. I wish they were a tad larger, but they're still wonderful they way they are.
