This filter is great. I work in human resources and accounting and it helps me keep sensitive information on my screen secure, in an open office like mine. I can see the screen clearly when sat in front of the screen and it fades to black quickly as the angle from the screen increases, its nuts the screen is completely black from a 30-degree angle right or left of centre,People complaining about not being able to see screen once installed have obviously not removed the protective film, I was guilty of this, then read the instructions again and peeled off the protective filmIf you want to be able keep people from seeing what is on your screen while they are directly behind you, then this isn’t for you, but if you need to keep people from coming up to the side of your computer or just trying to look over your shoulder from an angle, this filter will work great for you.I agree that the hang tabs and adhesive strips that hold the filter to the screen are not ideal, but they do work. I used the adhesive strips and after a few of days, I didn’t even notice them. People complaining about not being able to install the filter, I think is bizarre god forbid you have furniture to put together, because this was nothing.Love the addition of the anti-blue light in this filter, people don’t know how excessive amounts of blue light can be harmful. I brought my little some anti-blue light glasses, so I learned all abut the effects of blue light from the opticiansOverall, love this filter is great. It's well worth the money if you need to protect important information.

The filter is an excellent product. I bought it basically for the anti-glare and from the first day I attached it on the screen I saw the difference. From this point of view it’s a fantastic product. However, the fixings and instructions provided are poor. It took me time to find out how to attach it on the screen because the instructions are not so clear. There are two ways. The tabs and the strips. You attach the tabs at the edges of the screen provided there is space on the screen. This method however, did not work on my screen because the glass runs at the very edge of the screen so there is not enough space to attach the tabs. So I had to use the second method that is, the adhesive strips. These are supposed to be double sided adhesive strips which you attach them on the screen and on top of them you attach the filter. Funny enough though the strips that came with the filter were not double sided. I sent an email to the company asking about that and after a month or so they replied by saying that the strips provided were double sided. But I had already purchased from Ebay double sided adhesive strips and used these to attach the filter. It’s a shame that such a good product as the filter is, it does not come with proper fixings. They must have invented a proper method to attaching it or hanging it on the screen rather than “gluing” it on the screen. Apart from that it’s a very good product.

My reasons for buying this screen filter is because I was suffering from eye strain and I heard that this was partially due to the glare of the computer screen. As for the actual screen filter, it has definitely managed to minimize and reduce the glare. I cant say that the glare is 100% gone but there is a decent reduction.In terms of privacy filtering I would say it works very well depending on the angle the screen is being viewed from.The the size I chose was a perfect fit for my screen. The only real problem I had was with the fittings, it took me a while to figure out how to correctly use them.To summarize the filter didn't help to much with my eye strain (I would recommend getting a good pair of specially made glasses and taking regular breaks!), but it did reduce the glare by a good amount and also the privacy filter works very well from an angled view.

Filter does a great job of reducing glare as I like to sit next to the window and not have to close the blinds, which helps reduce eye strain for me. As a privacy filter itself it is dark and blocks off the light from the laptop screen at a narrower angle than the one I have for my other laptop, which is a positive for the EPHY filter. Only negative I would say is that it is quite thin so if you're not using it on a flat surface, i.e. lying down with it tilted towards you (I know, I'm lazy), the filter can bend and the image will blur, but that's a minor issue.Reason for four stars instead of 5 are the fittings, which come with little instructions for attaching and would be more useful, and look better, as two longer strips and a couple of the small tabs instead of 6 small tabs. Otherwise a great product and would buy again if needed for another laptop.

If you are looking for a privacy screen that prevents people looking over your shoulder standing directly behind you then forget it, they simply don't exist no matter what the product description says.The EPHY Privacy Filter / Anti-Glare / Screen..from Vulu Global does exactly what is says on the box, prevents viewing from either side of the screen at a specified angle. I found the viewing angle of this filter to be even less than whats stated on the packaging (which is great). The screen starts to go dark very quickly even before your view gets to the 30 degree black out angle, unless you have super vision you simply cannot see whats on the screen.It is extremely easy to fit and has a choice of 2 fixings, i used the slide in, slide out fixings since (providing you order the right size) the screen fits perfectly within the screen boarder. The Anti-Glare is a moot point really since most screens are anti- glare these days, in saying that the Anti-Glare works great, I maxed out the screen brightness and the filter just laughed at me!I had a filter previously from a different manufacture which was almost double the price so i was a little apprehensive getting this brand but i cannot see any difference to what i had previously (except the price of course). I'm really pleased with this filter, well manufactured, not too flexible, easy to fit, better blackout angle than stated and a reasonable price.
