The quality matches the price.
I was going to give it four stars but it really should be more like 4 1/2 stars. Reason I was thinking of taking a star away was because the material and the connections of the 2 sides of the paddle seems a bit breakable. Potentially. Then I reconsidered taking away that star ones I thought about the price that I paid compared to the competition out there that is $30-$40 more. I think this is a, "you get what you paid for" situation but as long as your junior paddler is not doing anything heavy duty, you will be fine.

Worth the Price!
Not the most sturdy paddle but gave it five stars because it fits description and gets the job done. My son is 7 and can use it easily on his kayak. I also loved the price and won’t get upset when I see it float down the creek like the paddle before.
