I needed a replacement cyan cartridge and purchased this setI loaded it in and the 8610 told me not genuine but after acknowledging that all was well, it has worked well. I've seen this with other replacement cartridges as wellHave not tried the others yet. Think this is a winner .Update: I may have spoken too soon. Now a yellow cartridge is not recognized and pulled a magenta that leaked all over my hands. I have not had this with other brands of cartridges

I have used the EBBO 3 Color 951XL Compatible Ink Cartridge Replacement for HP 951 for at least two years....without a single problem. I highly recommend them. No reason to look elsewhere for a better product.

For the money, these are fantastic.... but I have to give them 4 stars only because of the slight hassle that has come along with them.(I've chosen to not go lower than four because I can't be 100% certain that the Printer itself is starting to hate life... haha)My printer does warn me when I install the cartridge about how its not genuine blahblahblah... but I am able to bypass it without a problem.However, I've had a couple times (weeks after installing) when its says that I need to change the cartridge but I remove it and it's clearly still very full.It gets confused.Then I've had times where it gets pretty darn angry at the cartridges.It goes into "preparing the printer" mode and angerly cleans off the printer head or something.(basically just huffing and puffing)Most of the time it'll eventually come out of it and go back to printing... but other times it drags on for a while.Like I said... I can't 100% know for certain that my printer isn't just hating life.I've also had some color issues.Something that should Print Red...... might print more of a green color.With this low-cost ink... it's a gamble.If you plan on printing something super important (Photos, wedding invitations, or something you are gonna charge for)... Probably not the best bet.... but if you don't care that the color may come out wrong... you only care that words are legible.... then it's probably the way to go.Especially given the price. It's worth it.

My printer was working perfectly fine until I installed one of these cartridges. I kept getting an error that said I had to restart my printer or contact customer service. I then realized that the chip had actually fallen off of the cartridge. It slid right back into place (after struggling to take it out from the inside of the printer) however the error message has not stopped and I cannot use my printer. Will update when problem is resolved.EDIT:after a few days or struggling and some research it turns out all I had to do was unplug the printer while it was on. This somehow made the error message go away and I'm not longer having any problems! The ink seems to do the job!

Great price. The ink lasts just as long an any others which cost twice as much. Great deal for any home or business.

My print needs are 99% black & white only. Oddly, HP Officejet 8600 printers will not let you print in black & white once your color ink is out. Even more odd is that the HP drains your color ink even when you have selected B&W only, so even if you never select color-print, your color ink still goes down. It's frustrating to have to buy a color ink set to print in B&W but that is HP's twisted marketing scheme.These color replacements are significantly cheaper than HP and print acceptably. Most important is that it allows you to continue to print in black and white. The print quality is not quite up to par with genuine HP so I still use HP black, but at a fraction of the price these color cartridges will keep your printer operating.

I'm getting the correct color in my printer and the ink level indicator seems to be working properly. That's all I demand from my printer si I am happy with the cartridges.

Worked and performed like an original (mostly). Printer doesn't recognize it as an original cartridge and so you don't get the correct volume and technical specs from the machine. But the color was spot on and its a whole lot cheaper. Well worth it.
