Easy to fix (use the instructions!)
A good length roll of strong, quality window protection. Enough for six panes of greenhouse glass - put up to protect the windows if the dog jumps at them. Good adherence and not too bad to put on but easier with two people to ensure bubbles are smoothed out as you go. Can’t see it once it’s on.

Does the job
It works well to keep glass shards from flying all over the place. It requires quick and confident application to put it on without scrunching it up and a really sharp blade to cut it.

Excellent product - Delighted with Result
Used this for a small door window. Cutting/Measuring is best with two of you because film rolls up. Once cut it’s easy to apply and then smooth out little air pockets with their tool kit. Delighted with result.

Protection film.
Trail and error, with this one, can't be sure if it was the film or me or even both. Firstly you have to ensure that the glass is spotlessly clean. A sharp scrapping tool to clean the glass surface, you will find bits you didn't see. Wash the pane several time's and dry with paper. Failing to clean round the window seal's, willresult in dirt being dislodged by the removal of the sprayed on liquid under the film. One consideration was to apply a fine bead of clear Mastic to the seal, top and bottom only although this adds complications with neatness, it would prevent dirt being released from the seal's. As for the detergent, I think possiblybaby shampoo might be best, less chance of smudging from it's contents. There are numerous tips incustomer's reviews and it's worthwhile to check as many before starting.P.S We all make mistakes.

Does not adhere
We followed these instructions to the letter, but It was very difficult to get the film to stick to the glass . It kept peeling back off at the top and bottom. We could not stop air bubbles from forming and they would not squeegee out. We ended up having to remove the film because it looked bad

Handy spreader for film
Handy spreader that is just right. Stiff enough to work but not too sharp to cause damage.

Does not stick despite following instructions to the letter
Had a very frustrating time trying to get this on the window, followed the included instructions, especially buying a bottle of baby shampoo, but when squeezing out the water, it so tightly rolled it just peels off at the edges..I came down the next morning to 3 out of 6 panels lying on the floor having fallen off. Another 3 panels I gave up with the the water method and just stuck them down, so now air bubbles everywhere, look terrible.

It's like car tint, but thicker
I mean, what more to say? If you've installed car tint before, this will be a walk in the park for you. It's easier because you're most likely applying it to flat, right angle panels instead of a curved surface with curves and weird turns.Peeling the clear backing is kind of a PITA. Also, this stuff is thicker than normal car window tint, so make sure you're using a fresh razor blade when working with it.You'll want to get some structural caulking to seal up the edges as well. Does it look like it'll prevent shattering? Sure. Does it matter if you don't connect the film to the frame? Not one bit. This is only 50% of the materials needed to perform its intended purpose.Otherwise, I love the look. The frosting gives plenty of privacy without impacting light transmission too much, and it doesn't look sketchy like blacking out the windows does. I installed it on some older single pane glass in a couple exterior doors and on my garage doors and it gives a bit more modern look to the 70s era hardware. It'll suffice for a temporary solution until I get the doors replaced with more secure modern varieties.
