My cat is very, very, very obsessed with clawing up door frames, and I came to the conclusion that she was wanting to scratch something in my hallway (she has cat trees with tall scratchers by windows, but none in the hall) where she could get a nice full body stretch, and the two scratching posts nearby were both too short for that.I’m happy to announce that this scratching post (I got the tallest size) does reach the height of the destruction on the doorframe, and while she hasn’t entirely stopped scratching the doorframes, she does sometimes choose to go for this scratching post instead. Here’s to hoping that will keep increasing over time!Generally speaking, the fabric parts are soft, the ropey material is fine, and it was really quick and easy to put together - took less than five minutes. My cat doesn’t care about the ball on the spring, but I’m sure some cats would like it. I did have to cut off the elastic string and ball on the top, though, because my kitty likes to chew through elastic, and I didn’t want her breaking it off and eating the elastic while I was gone. Something to be aware of if you have a cat as silly about elastic as me!I haven’t tried attaching the little brush/scratchy pad because I just wanted to get it quickly put together for my kitty, but it’s nice that it’s an option and I might add it on later. I fully plan on getting another one of these whenever this one needs replacing or if I move to a bigger place with more doorframes to try to protect!

This is the second of these that I've purchased - because they look great, they're very sturdy and they are taller for my adult cats that like to reach up for a real stretch. This one came with a grooming attachment and a small sachet of catnip which I sprinkled over the attachment to try to encourage them to try it.These last a long time. When eventually the rope came away from the core, I hot glued it back on and got probably another 3 months life from it before it was beyond rescue. So I think I had the last one 18 months or more with two cats. They're great.

Since my cat enjoys the Post, I just bought a second one for another location for my cat to use. Easy assembly, took about 5 minutes to unpack and put together. It comes with this plastic "face scratcher" that the cat can rub their face on. That piece just velcro around the Post, however, I put one of the face scratchers on a table leg. You can see how much hair the face scratcher grabs, in one of my photos. My cat loves to rub her cheeks on it. That is nice they include such an item. The Post itself is stable and tall enough for my large, adult cat to get a good stretch when she scratches the Post. Fair price and a good product.

The cats love it. It doesn't take up much room but it gets lots of love and scratches from the sharp little cat claws. The blue is pretty and it's very sturdy, even with my 3-year-old leaning and sitting on it all the time. My only complaint is that the dangly ball came off almost immediately. The cats weren't big enough to chew through the cord, it just came off on its own. Nothing to blame there but poor quality.

Date: 09/12/2024Just received and it's great. So easy to put together. Here are my cats Loki and Milo very interested. I got the one for Adult Cats in color Beige. Comes with a brush you can attach to the post or anything else like staircase.Will update if it starts falling apart or anything, but first impression is that it looks durable so hopefully it keeps up. It reaches 2-3 inches below my hip and I'm 5'2" (157.5 cm).

Have an orange cat. Bought it months ago I think, it’s been a hot minute at least and the thing is completely destroyed. Not sure if its doing anything with her nails but she enjoys the post very much.

Bought this Scratch Post to replace an old one. Very easy to put together. My 2 cats loved this one so much that I bought a second one. They use it constantly and it is nice and tall and sturdy. I gave this Scratch post 4 stars. I have recommended this to my friends.

When I bought this, my rescue kitten was very young, so he didn’t have much use for it until he got a little bigger. Now, he loves it, but it’s just not tall enough. He’s 11 weeks old now. So if I had to do it again, I would look for something Taller so he would be more interested in it as he got older.

This is a pretty large sturdy cat post. I have 3 active cats....they all LOVE this tree.I've had two of them at the same time on the pole itself (18lbs) and wresting on it...no tipping at all. This thing is just awesome. Great bang for buck.Also, carpet doesn't shed...I appreciate that I don't need to clean that up too.

I have 2 cats that are litter mates. Both female. one of them loves this and uses it frequently. The other has no interest in it at all and runs off if I put her on it.

THIS ITEM ( CAT TOWER ) WAS AND IS ABSOLUTELY NO GOOD AT ALL. IT ONLY LASTED APPROXIMATELY ONE MONTH. THE STRING OBVIOUSLY WAS NOT ATTACHED TO THE POLE VERY SECURELY AND IT HAS BEEN UNRAVELING FOR SOME TIME NOW AMD IN LARGE PIECES WHICH I KNOW MY CAT DID NOT BITE THESE VERY LARGE POECES OFF THE POLE. I ONLY REALIZED THIS AFTER I HAVE THROWN OUT SEVERAL LARGE PEICES THAT HAVE CAME OFF THE POLE. I HAVE HAD OTHER CAT TOWERS THAT HAVE LASTED FOR MONTHS WITHOUT SOMETHING LIKE THIS EVER HAPPENING. THIS CAT TOWER IS TOTALLY USELESS AND SHOULD BE AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS AS IT WILL NOT LAST AND YOUR MONEY HAS BEEN THROWN OIT THE WINDOW. THIS ITEM WAS DELIVERED TO ME MARCH/04/2024 AND OT HAS BEEN FALLING APART FOR AT LEAST TWO WEEKS. I ACTUALLY WOULD LIKE A REFUND FOR THIS

Our cats like it and use it daily the sisal is starting to wear.
