Heavy Bag Spring Punching Bag Hanger 400 Pound Weight Capacity

I purchased this spring to lessen the vibration and noise from my 100lb bag hanging in the basement. Then wife was concerned that the noise of the mounting ring would bother her and the rest of the family since right above is the family room. Well after replacing the Mount ring with the Outslayer Spring, my daughter quickly informed me that the only thing she noticed was the faint sounds of my gloves actually striking the bag. The wife has yet to weigh in but I believe she will also be happy with the silence. My alternative would have be to drop $$$ on a stand which I would have rather not done. the $9.99 plus shipping or whatever I paid was totally worth it. I will say this, the Spring is nice sized maybe 5-6 inches so it will drop the position of the bag. For me that is not a problem.

I received my Outslayer 100 lbs heavy bag with this spring hanger and set this baby up as soon as I got upstairs.Hanging this from my joist, which is only 7 ft tall, I didn't have much space to work with for mounting equipment. This spring was perfect for me because it is not too long and its built for heavy weight capacity.Making impact with the bag is all the noise I hear with this spring setup. This spring definitely helped displace some of the bounce and movement causing noise that disturbed the neighbor above. I'd highly recommend it to anyone who buys a heavy bag. I also added washers to either side of the clip that hooks onto the hanger so that it stays balanced, and I oiled the rotating parts so they spin without friction. The spring is the most important part. I was skeptical it would do much but it's visibly very clear and perhaps more importantly, audibly clear, that it's doing its job.

I have had two previous heavy bag springs from another manufacturer fail under heavy use. This spring has so far been more than up to the challenge of supporting my Outslayer heavy bag despite relentless use. If it is still in one piece after 12 months use, I will write another review saying it is the greatest.

Heavy duty spring that works well to cushion the blows to my bag. Definitely recommend for anyone who works out or practices with a heavy bag.

Sure, it’s a $20+ spring (including shipping), but compared to the cheaper spring I was using before, this thing is amazing. It feels extremely strong, has good movement, doesn’t make any noise, and is perfect for my 150lb bag. If you want the best home setup for a heavy bag, I don’t think you’ll find better.

Great solution to relieve some stress on our garage ceiling! Helped so much in making our Outslayer heavy bag even more enjoyable to use! Would definitely recommend.
