Set of 4 for an office chair,which I've only seen with 5 wheels,
i don't know if an office chair on wheels that has only 4 ,I didn't notice there was only 4 so this order is worthless without the 5th wheel. This is a joke ,or a way for this company to get more money out of you instead of making them a set of 5.

Good quality , good price
These solve a big issue--how to keep an office in a carpeted room you don't own. 4" wheels let me roll pretty easily and don't mess up the carpet. HOWEVER, order carefully. I mistakenly ordered a set of 4 but needed 5. When I contacted the company for a 5th wheel, the wheel was only about$7 but they sent it FEDEX ground for over $16 and it took over a week to get to me. in other words, only order on Amazon, but get the right quantity.

CAUTION......Only for chairs with wide sturdy legs!
These casters seem to be very well made, BUT use caution when buying larger casters for your chairs! In theory, larger casters will make your chair roll easier over rough surfaces. But if they are too big, they will twist the leg and prevent the caster from turning in the right direction, which defeats the purpose. So you end up bouncing and jerking on the chair till it moves. The larger the wheels on the caster, the more likely they will twist the legs of your chair, when they are turned sideways and weight is applied. This will make it harder for them to turn, and possibly break the legs of your chair! Just turn the caster in front of you sideways, and lean forward on your chair. If you see the leg twist, your chair isn't strong enough to use bigger casters

Started out great
These started out wonderful. It added some height to a chair I was using at my desk. They were relatively easy to install and worked quite well until recently. I am not sure exactly what the problem is but one of the wheels suddenly fell out while my husband was sitting in the chair. Three of the four are fine and in spite of putting in a new caster socket, it just wont lock in.

Not for Heavy Sitters
Thought this would be great for my chair, less damaging to the floor mat and carpet. The offset from the center of the pivot and the center of the wheel AND MY WEIGHT caused the wheel to break my chair bottom. This should be awesome for moderate weight people even or carpeting.

These do work pretty well on household carpet
they aren't perfect but they're the best I've found

Great wheels
Great set of wheels. Work great on the carpet. Hopefully they will not break with my boy who is 230lbs... Wonderful that I could find them on Amazon, I was stumped as to where else to go.
