Very good and with results!
I know there are other IPL's better than this one cuz technology evolves but I used it only for about 4-6 months for the same area and now, after almost 1 year since then I HAVE NO HAIR ON THAT AREA growing anymore.I don't even use the machine anymore because of that and neither the shavers thset much. The instructions are correct in the package so read them as they are useful. If you have black hair of course, is better. At the beginning will come out black and after some time it will starts loosing its colour and lighten in some areas of the body. You continue the routine till no more hair grows.Just be careful if you really want no hair at all in the area you choose to do it.Hair is still important for regulating body temperature. If you close that pore, you closed it forever.I would recommend only to be used if you have excess hair grow in some areas that might not look esthetical, if you have ingrowing hair or get infection because of that, but also if you want smooth legs or arms, armpits etc.On the face is a bit tricky and can take longer time because the hair is lighter in colour.I would also recommend buying some special glasses because the light is not healthy for the eyes as I had many times headaches or diziness from the light. I try looking somewhere else or close the eyes but is not very effective as you need to see on what area you put the machine on.Another thing, if the company can change the shape / design a bit as it is uncomfortable to access some buttons and remain with your finger on it to have continous puls. Maybe do a command that you can set it to remain on ro something.Overall tho, I'm really satisfied with it. Thank you!

Best item I’ve bought in a long time
I’ve now had the Braun IPL about a year. I’ve always had issues with facial hair and always been self conscious about it, hiding my face with my hair etc, I’ve always either plucked, epilated, bleached etc etc and was left with thick black hair, so embarrassing, I’ve not been able to afford laser treatment at a salon. So when I saw this and at the time it was £120 I thought I’d give it a go. Firstly it’s so simple to use, you choose your strength then apply it to the area you want to use it on, now you can either move the device over the skin and press the button each time or press and hold and the device will continuously flash as you move the device over the area, it’s very simple to use and the best bit is that it actually works. When I first had it I used it twice a week then reduced it down to once a week now I’m barely needing to use it at all but still do every couple of months. When you first use it you have to shave the hair which I struggled with but you don’t need to worry, this thing works and I would recommend it to anyone with hair issues, you can of course use it all over your body.

Updated review!
I decided to try this IPL after seeing some positive reviews and finding it with good discount. I used to do laser but since covid have not been able to have any. I don't have very thick hair on my legs but starting to have more on my armpit and bikini area. I have light skin and dark brown/black hair. I used the device twice so far, once a week as directed. Not able to see changes yet. For the second time I bought some protective goggles for the light because although it says it's safe, it seems quite strong still. The device will not fire if not with full skin contact. It adjusts itself for intensity apparently. For me it's not painful, only a bit on the inner groin area. Laser or waxing hurts more. It takes maybe 20mins for me to do full leg, armpit and bikini area. Could take less for others more flexible or of someone else does it for you. I also bough a white eyeliner pencil to cover small moles as I learned from my laser sessions we shouldn't use it on them. IPL is absorved by melanin so the darker the skin the less efective. The darker the hair on lighter skin the more effective. I will try to update my review after a few more weeks to let you know how it worked.Update review:I've used this IPL aprox weekly 4x and actually I haven't used it now for 3 or 4 weeks because the hair did not grow! In the more hairy areas have only a few and where hair was thinner can't barely see it. I have only noticed one downside that I didn't have with laser.. Some ingrown hairs that are leaving me with foliculitis and required me to remove them using a pointy tweezer as after weeks they wouldn't come out. All in all, I'm happy that it's working and that I don't have to worry so often with hair removal. Worth the money!

Highly recommend.
I treated myself to this whilst it was on offer and I’m so pleased I did. After only 4 sessions I can see a marked reduction in hair / hair regrowth. My Husband is also using it and is experiencing similarly positive results. I would reinforce what others have said, this isn’t an overnight miracle and I will continue weekly use until I consider myself to be as “hair free” as possible.Importantly, I find this painless. Some more sensitive areas will feel heat more than others, but even on the strongest setting I would never describe the IPL as sore. I have now started to experience slight irritation on my legs afterwards which is more uncomfortable than the IPL itself! But this is totally normal and will pass after a couple of days - I like to think this means it’s working!I am also glad I went for this device over others - it’s lightweight and easy to hold so it makes longer “sessions” easy and doesn’t become heavy or uncomfortable. That said, I can cover many body parts in no time at all, so it’s never a time consuming task.Overall, I’d highly recommend.
