Though I don't think it's wrong for someone to ask God for the Holy Spirit: If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?Luke 11:13 KJVThe way I see it Jesus said ask and you shall receive so if he is also now saying you can ask for the Holy Spirit, Hagin is right in saying that you should recieve it.To put it simply ask believing that you will recieve it, and then recieve it.

2012, I asked Jesus as I laid on my bed for the Holy Spirit according to Luke 11: 9-13.I read the scripture all though you are evil how much more will God give the Holy Spirit to those who ask.I said on my bed in a soft voice, Jesus, can I have the Holy Spirit, and immediately I felt in my belly something moving up slowly to my chest under the skin. It definitely means what it says in context. Ask seek and knock and the door will be opened.

For every Christian who is longing to live the life this is the book and the experience which you need to help you along the way. I had this experience many years ago. I recognised my failures and my sin when i was 17 years of age. I am now 77 years old and this Spirit-filled life has helped me through many trials and sadnesses but also it gave me boldness to witness to others what My lord and saviour has done for me and I have tried to point them to Jesus Christ myself. Read this book take it to heaart and taste of this and see what God can do for you and your life and living. God bless you.
