Mix works as advertised
Solid product. Our little one had troubles keeping her milk down and this mix has helped with that issue as advertised. Recommend shaking/mixing well into the milk to get the most effect and minimize any waste.

Drastic Improvement!
Took some trial and error when we first started using this, but once we found the perfect combo (2 scoops per 6 ounces, wait 10 minutes), this helped reduce our babies spit up drastically! I recommend getting a long handheld frother to easily get rid of any clumps!

Saved our 4 month old
I am not one to leave reviews on amazon, this might actually be my first amazon review ever which is a testament to how thankful I am for this product. We have been through the ringer with our almost 5 month old. Slow to gain weight, unable to keep anything down, feeding aversions, tongue/lip/buccal tie revisions, multiple lactation consultants before finally giving up breastfeeding altogether. She has fallen off of her growth curve and I was having anxiety attacks at every feeding because I didn't know how it was going to go and because our pediatrician was not taking my complaints seriously. We are now in feeding therapy and trying to figure out why eating has been so difficult. Our daughter is sensitive to taste changes, even in pumped breastmilk depending on what was eaten she may refuse it altogether. We were very nervous how adding thickener would affect her feeding aversions and we are so pleased that it made no difference, I think she is finally just happy to be able to eat without choking! we have tried EVERYTHING before gel-mix, it didn't matter the bottle/nipple/type of formula/breastmilk diet changes/anything. This product has been the ONLY thing to help us. We are no longer covered in throw up an hour later, she is finally eating full bottles, and has gained a full pound in the first two weeks since starting it.Yes, the price point would be steep for someone needing very thick bottles in addition to formula expenses. We are only on one formula bottle a day (for calories and laziness on my part...early morning feed lol) and the rest is breast milk so it is not that expensive for us. I'm unsure how it would be if we were buying formula fulltime too though so that would be something to consider. This thickener is also one of the only ones we've seen that doesn't seem to affect the nutritional value of breastmilk too.TL;DR Gelmix is a life saver, I would sell everything I own to budget this in if I had to. My baby is finally happy, gaining weight, and meeting milestones. This has saved us.

Works better than anything, but is expensive
My son has had reflux from pretty early on. Even with medication (ranitidine), if we didn't thicken his formula he would spit up most of it. When he started rolling, the spit up got so much worse.I did the research and bought some gelmix and it made a huge difference to him. We went without it for a while but we noticed recently that he was refusing bottles and thought it was down to some oral thrush. When his appetite didn't pick back up we tried gelmix again, and his appetite has been great. Our son is a chonker, and its important to us that he not consume empty calories every time he has a bottle. It works better for us than rice or oatmeal. We read recently theres higher than normal levels of arsenic in rice that affects baby food, so we are happy to keep away from stuff like that as much as we can.For us, we just need 1 scoop per 6oz. We premix the water in bottles for daycare. We have a baby brezza and use the hottest water setting. We can throw a scoop in the bottle and let it sit for a few minutes before he gets it. It doesnt thicken it massively, just enough to allow him to keep most of his food down. With daycare we use the water only setting on the brezza. When we make it directly with the water + formula it doesnt thicken it much. When we thicken the water first and then add the formula once it has thickened, it ends up much thicker. I read it's something to do with the proteins in the formula powder. Sometimes the thickened water can be a pain to mix with powder so we managed to find some tiny metal shaker balls on amazon to add to his bottle to help mix it.I had questions for them about storage of premixed water and reached out to them on facebook for answers. They were super helpful and quick to respond. They also sometimes throw out coupon codes for their website which can make it cheaper to buy direct from them rather than through amazon.Although the product works and fits our needs, the price sucks. It's too expensive and the packaging is outrageous. You think you're gonna get a decent amount but the tub is 1/2 empty. They just kinda get you by the short ans curlies because theres nothing that works better for babies. So you pay it because you want what's best for them. Just take it out of their college fund. We have bought 12 tubs of this stuff so far. That's about $300 in total.

WRONG PRODUCT SENT TWO TIMES!!
The first time I bought it, the same gelmix came in and It worked really good! The 2nd time I ordered a different brand came in that said to NOT use for infants under 12 months!!!!!! Requested refund and bought it again, SAME ISSUE!!! I don’t know if it’s an Amazon issue or the product being the issue!!! Very very disappointed!! I am so glad I read the product label prior to putting it in my babies milk!!! 😡

Only option for milk thickner
This is the only product option I have and it was prescribed for my baby. It’s a great way to thicken milk and help reflux. It’s easy to use and can get it delivered efficiently. The main problem is the price for size. It’s almost 3x as expensive as formula and the container does not even come full!
